How short memories are. It was barely twenty years ago that the US government was funding and training a heroic resistance fighter by the name of Osama Bin Laden, to fight in Afghanistan against an Evil Empire, whom then turned on the US.

hey i like ron paul and everything he stands for but there is no way he can win. if he had won a single state i would consider backing him for president. but that didnt happen, so i like a loyal american will be supporting mccain. dispite the fact i hate him. i agree with him a hell of alot more than i agree with hilary and obama.

John McCain is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and surrounds himself with CFR-member advisers EXACTLY as Obama and Clinton do. You will get the SAME policies regardless of which of the 3 you elect. The Bilderberg Group, and their US foreign policy arm, the CFR, and their MSM lackeys, have worked to shut Dr Paul out. To acquiesce to their treasonous wishes, and vote for one of their ordained candidates, and expect difference, is pure folly.

You *should* care about foreign policy because this interventionism is bankrupting us. Iraq and Afghanistan will cost $3 TRILLION, and general foreign policy (ie >750 bases in 130 countries) costs us $1 TRILLION per year. Everyone liked his foreign policy that he *said* he'd run on. That's the difference between GWB and Dr Paul: GWB lies to get into power, and changes once in; Dr Paul has promoted consistent policies for 40 years, and *WILL* enact the platform he runs on.

The US has NEVER had isolationist foreign policy. We invaded dozens of countries prior to WWI. Read, 'War Is A Racket' by Maj Gen Smedley Butler, USMC - 2 time Congressional Medal of Honor winner. In the book, which was written in the mid 1930s, he'll tell you all about how he was nothing but a thug for corporate America.
