Did you hear about an ammo barge that exploded in Helifax during World War1 that killed 2000 people?

it was so scary that people thought that the jappanese or one of the ww2 axis powers had attacked the city.

the blast was so devastating that it made a tidal wave that "threw" a giant oil tanker 1000ft inland. the suction of the blasts' shockwave actually pulled planes like piper cubs, out of the sky and made them crash she is still with us today.

She said that people were walking around holding thier intestines in with thier arms or what was left of thier arms. She also told me that she saw a person holding his eyball in place while his friend held his lungs in for him.

man my grandma was here wen tha blast happend and she said that there was pieces of 10 to 500 pound metal shrapnel "raining" on the city.
