Could it just be that the term "serpent" is used to describe the cleverness and sneakiness of the devil? Or since the Serpent is used as symbolism for Christ(Moses and the staff of healing or even Quetzicotol) perhaps Lucifer disgused himself to appear like Christ/God since he can appear as an angel of light. You misunderstand, I have a good understanding of the evolution of species. There is no doubt that over time species adapt to changing environments, I just don't believe that there was/is a “natural” link between man and ape. It was described by early man as reassembling a serpent of light. Thus the "cosmic serpent" became the ancient symbol of the universe and life. @AutumnEnergy1 @Sounds about right, except for the part about the Daturia. Where as God commanded us not to eat of the fruit he also demanded that we should not touch it! Touching a Daturia, while painful and unpleasant would not cause the “poison” to enter the blood stream as we see happening with mushrooms through absorption of the skin. Also the Daturia does not have the consistency of “flesh” which the forbidden fruit and Eucharist both posses. Thanks for watching.

We seem to be the most complex manifestation of these single celled organisms. I just found so much more "secret" knowledge in lost manuscripts that the church has concealed from us. The dead Sea Scrolls was a huge wake up call for us all. I do believe in things that can be presented with definitive evidence such as evolution.You cant put evolution in the category of the unexplained such as religion.Religion does nothing to explain the process of which we got here except that some invisible entity thought us into existance, casts judgement upon us after a piece of fruit was eaten, people rose from the dead, and a flood killed us off. Why do you think that Intelligent Design is not taught in the classrooms? It cant be tested, validated and most importantly corrected. It stated god did thats it. Your religion suggests that a self sustaining creator always existed and you are not allowed to ask how it got here. Science allows you to ask any question and test anything about it and repearedly tries to disprove itself.

@sariglenn ...Yes....I freely admit that the creation of the human race was a supernatural event. So does evolution theory, they just leave God out of the equasion and say....it just happened. Science is a wonderful methodology, but it is based on observation. No one has observed a life form "evolve" into another, and for an out, they say...Oh... it took millions of years. Guessing isn't scientific buddy, never has been.

These psycho-active philosophers have been teaching for thousands of years that man is evolving. They later became known as "Naturalists", Darwins dad as well as guys like Francis Bacon were subscibers. Evolution is a primitive superstition that imparts no real knowledge of any kind to the person who holds it. Evolution is an illusion where adaptation has become a process that populates the missing frequencies of the life spectrum. The interconnectedness of the earth's ecology is similarly confused. Evolution demands linear thinking and a commitment to reject mind as having anything to do with nature outside of a cruel joke that arises in the situation of living things.

You must also understand that human beings can't possibly understand things, even in theory, as "separate" knowledge, because there is no separation in reality. We accept and manipulate. We do not understand and create. And when we speak of the spiritual, that is what we are alluding to, creation and understanding, the principles that transcend all boxes the human mind tries to create to contain them.

There is no contradiction in the meaning I am trying to express. But I could certainly put it in better terms. What I mean to say is that true understanding is apart from human concept in that the former simply doesn't rely on the latter in order to be experienced as true. Also, the traditional Jewish understanding of the mind is that multiple things can be true, but the problem is in our rationalization. We arrogantly think that our idea of something being true makes it exclusive.

Nature provides curses and cures, every major medical drug on the market was once synthesized from a natural plant 90% of which can be found in the Amazon. native peoples have lived for thousands of years using these plants. Our society is plagued by death and sickness CAUSED by the chemicals found within plants. When a plant is made into a drug it destroys it natural biochemical integrity...

The “leaf” regulated the amount of the chemical one could ingest making it IMPOSSIBLE to overdose. Synthesizing the chemical in the leaf destroyed the natural integrity of the plant allowing one to snort an amount of chemical that would, in its natural form be IMPOSSIBLE.

Now maybe I can rely on your expertise and ask you what the evolutionary theory would be driving nature to provide all the things Homo Sapiens might require to maintain their health. If you can't do that, then you would have to admit all that nature provides is some random interesting compounds for man to investigate.

Even penicillin was synthesized from deadly fungus. 90% of the "drugs" we use today are manufactured from roots herbs and other medicinal plants that our ancestors were using for thousands of years to heal, with no over doses, no mental trauma and no unwanted after effects.

In flesh and blood, hate and anger. Lucifer was a Holy Being that sinned by way of perception. Perception of +/- as separate and unequal. Many were killed for the love of the Christ but many more have been killed in the NAME of JESUS. By creating a false image (i.e. Christ Crucified) Satan, or illusion with the evil in men has begun to worship the image of the beast. The true image of God is in the Resurrected Jesus/Energy/Spirit/Light, not the Crucified Christ/Matter/Body/Image. I know this all sounds radical but the all things will be revealed in the end.
