I am not an Arab, I am not muslim but I find Americans quite ignorant. They don't seem to care about what happens outside their borders, couldn't care less about what others think of them and generally, live a very insular lifestyle. They also have an obsession with being soldiers and being in wars as if it was such a wonderful thing. Comes from watching all those war films made in Hollywood where they glorify war and soldiers. Pity really.....
I think that you have it backwards. I'm not flaming you, but I will have to blame your sentiments on ignorance. Most Americans DO care about life outside the US. I don't know anyone who is obsessed with war. I think most of what YOU know about everyday Americans is what you see in glorified Hollywood movies.
Seriously, we're nothing like that. And I think that it's common knowledge now that our government obviously does not represent who we are as a people and a society.
@mrsdavis1018 hey the first song is OUTSIDERS and it is by ben nichols but when he was in a band called "redforty" and the second is im coming home i think. which is a lucero song i believe but these perticular recordings are impossible to find anywhere , i have different versions of them this must be very early recordings.
