What are you doing with the A chord throughout the song? When I play this song, i tend to use an Asus7 (I think). Basically, it's this: X02233. It looks like you are doing something a little more creative?
Thanks a lot. There are two mics in the room. Put a little reverb on one of them, panned them left and right, then just mixed until it sounded good. I didn't really have a plan. It did turn out pretty lush sounding. The guitar is tuned down too, that adds a little depth.
The BR-180 is on the block right now. I might change my mind and keep it. The SC has developed a bellying issue which has thrown the intonation out of whack. Not sure what to do about it at this point. This D-15 is going to satisfy me for quite a while I believe.
Nice work

This kind of ballade is matching your voice in a special way.
Is that a dropped D tuning?

This is lovely - I'm a huge Son Volt fan, and you've definitely done justice to one of my favourite songs.

I'm using that chord A7sus for the intro parts. During the verses I'm going from an A chord to an A9 X02200.

Very nice feel to this performance.
What kind of EQ did you put on the guitar? Sounds very deep and rich.

I love those D-15s by the way. Nothing like a good martin. I play a d-28 myself.

Brilliant, really enjoyed this! Is that a new guitar?

Thanks. Yes a D-15, I've had it about 2 weeks now. It's a very inspiring guitar to play and hard to put down sometimes.

Nice. Do you still have the Silver Creek? What about the BR180?

I hear you. You could always try a bridge dr. on the SC. But sometimes you just need a Martin. :')
