It reminds me of when I was in a Shakespeare play, but I sort of had the opposite experience. Like Tish, I had a very small part in the play (only two lines at the beginning), but I made a lot of great friends during the production that I know I wouldn't have otherwise made. A theatre production is a great way to make new friends. And my mom and dad came to see the play, too. My mom loved it, but my dad couldn't understand a single word of it, and of course he made fun of the play.
