Isn't it hard growing weed in an Aerogarden? Most varieties grown form seed will top out at 3 to 4 feet by harvest, and isn't this too tall for all the Aerogarden models? The only option is to use clones or the lowryder strain. Many people don't have space for a motherplant. Lowryder is lower potency and may not be readily available feminized if thats the only option.

Lowryder has ruderalis characteristics bred into it. Meaning it auto flowers after a few weeks of veg even in full light it is gonna flower. A true lowryder is impossible to keep as a mother and must be grown from seed, spraying your ladies with Giberilic acid will make them have male parts to keep your seed stock. plus the tallest it gets is 6 inches to a foot. Still to tall for an Aerogarden though. The cool thing is that you can take it from seed to harvest in about eight weeks.

a 3 foot plant is a very small plant, 1 125w enviro gives out 14000 lumens, why the hell would anyone need to buy an aerogarden? herbs and thats it, 1 14 watt energy saver gives out 800 lumens, but hey might as well spend a few hundred on some poointles crap cos i dont understand how it works and why 90% of it is completly unesesary and its extortionatly over priced, aerogardens and there cost are an insult to intalect and your falling for it, your sir are an idiot not me

i got 5 oz from a bucket with an air pump and 2 enviros, do the math fool, and it was a lowryder #1 yes 1 trhe lesser yielder fool, you cant seriously think that the aeropod basil special can out perform a 25 leter bucket with air pump for about 3.50, if so you realy dont understand nature at all

the arogarden ok but don't botehr buying the seed kits they are rip off. I mean one seed per pod is daylight robbery for the money. JUst buy ur own seeds and grow sponges. DOes anybody have any ideas how you could attach a light to a home made aerogarden. I have made my own aerogarden but would love to have a built in lamp hood so it could sit on my worktop. THats the most appealing thing with the aerogarden the built in light that is hard to home make

the light needs to be lowered to stop them from stretching, of course wattage never compares to natural sunlight,I never had a problem with it, and most people cant put a fancy smancy set up in there house, I think its a good idea for a small closet grower, and for a small set up I know its not gonna yield lbs,but it gets the job done if done right, only problem is height with these things. for basil that is.lol

The plants are extremely elongated which would be typical of the low light levels that these 5mm LED arrays will give you.

No, the Aerogarden itself will not give this sort of elongation. This is due to low light levels. I have a lot of experience growing with LEDs, high power and low power arrays, and these low power 5mm arrays just don't have the photon flux density for good growth.

It'll be even worse for the flowering stage.

are the ghe nutrients any good? I find when using the standard nutrient chart out of the box that the large fans leaves turn slightly yellow rather than a dark green. I havent bothered doing any ph checks at all as i cant aford a meter yet. could this be the problem. Is the ghe standard dose to weak. npk on the bottle for total combined is npk 4-6-12. maybe too low on nitrogen u think. I built my own aerogarden for $30. i just gotta find aneat little light fixture

don't buy the areogarden unless you can find it for under $50 if you want to grow weed make your own hydroponic system its cheep and easy or just use dirt the areogarden tablets are made for specific needs of the plants that they come with weed consumes much more nitrogen than most plants you will most likely have a bad crop if you dont have the right nutrients

I use the original aerogarden nutrients with the similar botanic plants.... in alternative i use the GHE nutrients with aerogarden, buy on ebay...for 1000 litre solution i pay 36$

The cost of aerogarden is on ebay total of about $ 200 in total including shipments, then the lamp led with 4 watts of absorption and made more than 200 watts costs about $ 80 but well be its lamps, which consume 60 watt hours . Seeds cost 55 euros + shipping, but now there are other qualities of plants with seeds smaller and economical.
