Bulleh's poetry has so much philosophy in it that I consider him the greatest poet and philosopher of the last 1300 years, equal to Ghalib. Their work should be compulsory reading in the schools of Pakistan, India and all other countries( after proper translation). Then, we have a better chance of bringing peace to this warring world. Wonderful post. Just as the wonderful words get you going the music further catalyses for you to start seeings souls behind the pictures. Look at a picture as you listen and you will see a beautiful soul immersed in inner expression. Be it an old man, a woman or a child. I am from the Punjab and am so lucky to have been born when it was still simple unpolluted land with incredible humanity and heaven on earth.
