Great video, well made, and very thought provoking. I hadn't thought about the implications of anti-spam dialogue boxes and the problems they presented to text readers
Interesting video - there is so much we take for granted about surfing the Internet.
I think the key point, which the video made, is that digital media has the potential to be much more accessible to visually impaired people than traditional print. However, there is still a long way to go to make this ease of access a reality.
Very informative. I am guilty of not focusing much on following accessibility standards when developing websites. I now understand how important it is to many people. Thank you.
Hadn't really thought about all the crap on a web page - there's no way i would be able to tab through all the options on a web page let alone do it without being able to see them.
It takes all the fun out of browsing the internet and letting links lead you to random places.
Interesting stuff. Must be a nightmare trying to access the net when there's so much info even on just one page to sift through. I guess general browsing for fun is probably out, and that search must become an even more important tool for the visually impaired than for other users? Anyone know if there's an online community for this user group / specific sites they find useful? Mobile internet must be a non-starter too? Don't know anyone who optimises text-to-speech for handsets yet. Hmmm.
Greet video.. has rich information... thanks you all...
