@funkduz Read the top comment dude, he's right, it's not just a mindless spam, it's zoning, and it's guile, he really has nothing other than playing defencively, which sonic booms happen to be a large part of. Even as other fireball characters it's sometimes necessary to fireball spam verse characters like deejay, balrog and such just because it works so well. It doesn't make for a boring game if both characters know how to play.

If Guile turtles, he's upper tier. If he plays offensively using combos (4-hit at least), he's mid tier at best. Opponents play offensively against a turtle Guile. Opponents turtle against offensive Guiles. He isn't top tier. Cammy, Fei-Long, Sagat and Honda are top tier.

Plus, it doesn't matter what happens, about half the characters have a projectile of some sort, in this case Daigo still has a projectile - Sonic Boom.
