i bought a pair of those but they didnt sound to good, and after a while i lost most of them. So i just use 2 black shirts on the 2 toms on top of the base drum, and i luckily still have the floor tom muffle pad.
@eatmybrainsss Paiste is epic! if you get the right ones that is. Persionally i play with 2002 series, but my hi-hat top got busted, and now im settling for a pair of alphas, they are a lot cheaper, but sound really good.
The silencers reduce the noise a lot but it still vibrates but it is acctually quite loud the neibours have never complaned for me and also when i use the hi-hat pedal to make them open and close ther is no sound but overall they work quite good
you can get rubber practice pads which almost completely mute the sound which ruins the whole idea and at the same time you can get crappy foam ones like i have which barely work cos my neighbors can still hear it and it drives my family mad and just ruin the sound and now have to drape t-shirts on top of my pads. or you con get pads like in the video which sound pretty good. best thing i would say is get an electric kit which you can plug headphones into easier sound better and are quieter.
Do they silence much ? . Becouse i want to buy drums and my parents won't let me becouse of the sound . So if this silence much it would be perfect ! . And no i don't want Electric drums . Becouse of the price ;)
how much does that cost though because our beighbors extended their house on to our garage so if i play drums they hear it bad that why my parents wont let me have any.....to bad i ordered some yesterday though lol
