Actually Europeans only started buying black slaves from other blacks because they couldn´t get white slaves anymore(coz of Ottomans). Oh and the slave trade and the keeping of slaves wasn´t actually that profitable most scholars agree. this is the main reason why they tried to breed slaves in the southern US.....
