That's not what combat is like always. People need to realize that. I was a U.S. Marine for 4 years. I was wounded and lost one of my legs, which then they sent me home. I now have a robotic leg, and will never be the same. I came home a new man... I experienced what it's like. And it's nothing like always combat. 3 years I was at base doing nothing, and 2 added years of training. So I served in the Marine Corps, including training 6 years. and only went to 2 heated battles.
This tribute gives me the chills i cannot wait to get outta high school and join the Marines ive been waiting my whole life(Sadly i still got 2 years only a junior =[ )

That's not what combat is like always. People need to realize that. I was a U.S. Marine for 4 years. I was wounded and lost one of my legs, which then they sent me home. I now have a robotic leg, and will never be the same. I came home a new man... I experienced what it's like. And it's nothing like always combat. 3 years I was at base doing nothing, and 2 added years of training. So I served in the Marine Corps, including training 6 years. and only went to 2 heated battles.

@1969challenger respectfully disagree marines are a department of the navy. take the New york police division, there is a homicide department of NYPD. They are still part of the NYPD just a lower division. Thats why marines dont have that fancy of technology like the army they fight for funding with the navy. If people start to abuse your respect, don't give it. It is a much easier way than treating those you are curious of with disrespect from the start.
