  • good job

  • you guyz really need some shooting training!!!

  • anyway the proper question i wanted to ask you guys is what happens if 2 guys shoot the same bird and kill is whos kill does it count as with the 2 bird max per person whos bird will it count as

yhank you for a great video and down with all the antis.

  • @kylegoffin One hunter claims the bird as part of his (or her) limit. Once a hunter has 2 birds, he/she is not permitted to continue shooting. Once the final bird is taken, it's time to pack up and head home...

    Thanks for watching!!

  • just read some of these comment and all the antis just shut up its his choice of what he does and i think it is a great thing to do, at least here you know where your food is coming from rather than how kettlebottomcrew said at the top where the geese from supermarkets are not free range and are brought up in cages where they cannot hav a good life at least with hunting they have a good life before they are shot.

  • i really admire you guys, good shooting boys :)

  • So you killed some Ducks just4fun... you guys are so sad, if you were real mans you would go to the Army... there you can shoot on enemys wich are fighting back. But ofc shooting on Ducks is much more safe, do us all a pleasure and cut off your balls, you dont deserve them. Calling yourself an Expert in "Duck-Shooting" and you're proud of it?? But I'm sure it's fun to handle with a big gun, executing some defenceless 30cm tall Ducks instead of a real enemy like our friends the soldiers. Sad...

  • @MrRapemeifyoucan Ha ha ha! Well, you've entertained me, if nothing else...

We are certainly NOT experts! (We are, however, quite sure we shot Geese, not Ducks.) We shoot them to eat them, which is generally frowned upon in a wartime situation. If an enemy, foreign or domestic, attacks our country, we will be here to defend our land. Until then, we will be in the field, "executing" dinner!!

  • @KettlebottomCrew expected and answer like this, okay maybe i'll take the soldier-thing back, but shooting geese to eat them instead of walking into the next supermarket... the only reason for me is that you have fun while shooting, wich is not a problem but i would shoot on some disks and get my dinner in the market. Then i just noticed the "cool" music @ 3:50(usually to be heared @movietrailers),showing up your "hunting-gear" at the end... all this just to get some dinner?

  • @MrRapemeifyoucan Yes, I will admit that it's fun to hang with friends and shoot guns.

We would rather eat wild game than mass-produced animals born to suffer and die just for meat. Also, the wild game we take is organic, free-range and cage-free, all of which costs extra in the market. If you prefer to support large-scale farms that eat up loads of land, resources, and destroy the natural world with tons of animal waste, be my guest.

  • @KettlebottomCrew scale-farms:just because of that i'm a vegetarian:)anyway i know i overreacted in my first comment,i just hate all kinds of killing animals and was in a bad temper, but if you're against the large scale farms it might be ok in my eyes, okay here we are, you changed my point of view about Hunters (a little bit) let's finish this here. But please do me a favour: dont lough cuz of 4:21 a good hunter should allways shows some respect for his prey;) Have a nice Day.

  • @MrRapemeifyoucan real enemy is PEOPLE !!!!!!!! I think everyboby understands what you stand for in your life.

Thank you for reminding us what real murder is ...killing other human beings.

    This is sad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MrRapemeifyoucan Your fucking retarded its not called duck shooting its water fowling or hunting and its been in my family for years 4 generations of my family have grown up on 14 thousand acres of field and a massive pond and duck and goose hunting is a past time my family spend doing every year. Also if there were no hunters the balance of game to their food ratio would be fucked up and there wouldn't be enough food for the birds then they would all die off so next time think before you talk!

  • @TheMNOutdoors Try shooting in real life-- your Playstation makes it seem easy. Post something to show us how it's done if you're an expert-- otherwise I can't take you seriously at all.

  • Nice hunt

  • heyy .. sorry but s the name of the start music .. i like it and the clip too

    thanks

  • Its harder for us Canadians to get limits. You guys would have had to get 48 birds to max out in Alberta. Everyone at Waterfowlfans only gets 2 to 3 each a day, you guys got some of the best shooting ive seen.

  • nice shooting lads

  • Nice!!:)

  • But..........why dont you first shoot the goose that are sitting near by?

  • @SuperPumpaction The Geese on the ground are plastic decoys we set up to pull real Geese into range. They sure LOOK real though...

  • I'm curious, what do you guys do with the birds afterwards?

  • @shewolf51 We breast them out and cook them up. They make an excellent curry, sausage, or chili.

  • @KettlebottomCrew That sounds delicious. Though I can't say I've ever had goose meat, probably never will unless they start selling it since I'm more into fishing than hunting.

  • @KettlebottomCrew My family has only duck/goose hunted for 2 seasons, n atm we have a smoker and either make jercky or grill it, but i was wondering if u had any recipes for more labor intensive stuff like curry n chili that u spoke of?

  • @Xiofang Either recipe is very easy and, apart from using Geese instead of beef, it's no different from regular curry or chili. I shot a cooking video showing Venison Curry that I hope to edit and post soon and will let you know when it's live...

  • @KettlebottomCrew why do you guys use o/unders?

  • @jumpthenoob We are only allowed 3 shells TOTAL in our waterfowl guns. (two in the mag, one in the chamber)Over/unders are only one away from our maximum allowed and look really cool! Reload time can actually be much faster with O/U if you're good.

  • @KettlebottomCrew In Denmark where i live, 99 % of all bird hunters use S/S or O/U there is two reasons for that 1) its an old tradition for using double barreled 2) we are only allowed to have two shells in our waterfowl guns :) i just started hunting but have been going with my dad since i was 6 and it seems fair that the birds have some sort of escape. i dont know the rules in all states in america but the old folks here talks about how many shells you americans have when you shoot birds :D

  • @iggvf Thanks for watching! In Rhode Island, we are limited to a maximum of 3 shells in the gun, total. (one in the chamber and two in reserve.) Most shotguns can hold more but we put a plug into the mag to limit the capacity. If your gun can hold more, you get in a lot of trouble.

  • @KettlebottomCrew k thx i appreciate it :)

  • @shewolf51 you eat them..

  • @TheREICHOW I realize that. I was wondering what, specifically, these guys did with the birds after them. Did they eat the meat themselves, did they sell the meat, etc. I've never hunted before so I was curious about what particular purpose these gentlemen used the birds for.

  • @shewolf51 we made sausage with the goose meat. We will post the recipe soon.

  • @KettlebottomCrew I know, you guys replied to me before. I was just answering the other guy's reply to my post since he seemed to think that I didn't know that dead birds were edible.

  • Oh, those were decoys, I was wondering why you didn't shoot those ones.

  • so you limit out by 0730 wow.

  • Who cares how they did it, hunting is about having a good time while putting meat in your freezer and then in your stomach because it's delicious. Keep it up boys, whack em and stack em.

  • god you guys suck

  • damn amateurs. learn how to hunt/ call/ set decoys/ scout! God, you would know if there was early flights if you SCOUT!!!!!!!

  • Rhode Island sucks, can never find a place to hunt

  • @mrjesus6666 we agree, that is why we offer goose hunts on our private land spots for $150 per person. check our website

  • not very good at anything

  • Caramba! Not to cool

  • Wow you gotta get better ,more modern goose calls boys. Get with the times .There are better goose calls than those 1970 relics. I have the same calls and now I have goosezilla calls. They sound realistic and not fake like the ones you use in the video. hey good luck.

  • i go hunting in upstate new york what shotguns do you guys use? i use a winchester sx3 and my dad has a browning.. its good to go fo gesse in morning and in 7-10pm

  • Так убивают только ФАШИСТЫ. Подранков надо добивать быстро а не как тот гусь в мучениях. Убийцы. Вы не охотники а мудаки

  • Only a month until it starts up here again! September 1st havent seen the laws yet but i hope its a 15 bird limit for early season again.

  • "we got TOYS!" I love it.. all the people giving you shit... piss on'em... hunting is about going out having fun and doing what you do... if it was all about killing it would be called harvesting not hunting... have fun do it your way and keep smacking'em

  • @Bermtown Thanks! We got all SORTS of toys-- and we got some new ones for this season! It never ends...

  • @goooser410

    obviously it works.

  • @muktukbill

If you have birds flying by! Ray Charles can hit one. And on that, I can have my 7 yrs daughter use a Sean Mann better that what that man used. But who am I, I live my life, hunt with friends and laugh at life.

  • your vid was good your going to get alot of bs from people there mad because your getting them and ther not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Sucks you can only shoot 2 each

  • @HunterToby1 Yeah. we're allowed two per person during the regular season but five each during the early season...

  • typical! as soon as your destracted (e.g by cofee) the geese come!

  • Why don't you shoot the ones on the ground?

  • @tabamoura The birds on the ground are fake-- they're decoys to help convince the real Geese to come over to have a look.

  • @KettlebottomCrew LOL, I know , it was a joke.

  • this video is a friggan joke. every other bird shot in rhode island is banded. no lay out blinds, crap calls, and a dog that wont stay. cool. less talk more killing

  • @tperry15 Check your math: one banded bird out of 12 isn't "every other bird." We have tried layout blinds many times but leave them at home because Rhode Island birds are too smart-- they won't come near them-- and our hiding spot was comfortable and effective. The Geese liked the calls, obviously, so an armchair hunter's opinion is worthless. As for Rocky, he knows his job and only goes when a bird goes down and Robb sends him.

  • hahahahhhahahahahhahahahah vy10n1s u just got shit on!

  • i got a question for vy10n1s why the fuck do u get up at 2:30 2 go hunting????? unless u have a really far drive... ur a fucking idiot...

  • No shit dumb ass, I'm glad you put two and two together?... Dumb ass...

  • He's just so skilled at getting out of bed! I am impressed... Maybe someday he will post a video so we can all basque in his glory. Make sure you include your alarm clock in the video..

  • too much skybusting ....

  • Definition of skybusting= shooting at birds too high to kill/ harvest. Shots in video= dying geese. XXX you are wrong!

  • And way to put more shells in your guns than your supposed to dumb ass....

  • Ah Er.. Okay, you are definitely an idiot. But the toughest idiot with an alarm clock out there!

  • Are you stupid? These guys follow RI waterfowl laws to the letter..and there are some stupid rules. I'm pretty sure the beginning of the video even shows them loading up.

  • That suck's two bird limit!!!! And seriously head phones your a pussy. I get up at 2:30 to go goose hunting.

  • o and by the way u guys r mint shot

  • i've resantly got a lab cross springer spaniel and training her for beating and shooting do u think this breed is a good hunter?

  • How is the gsp for retrieving, I live in mass and I upland and duck hunt im still deciding between a lab and gsp

  • Gretchen is Jay's dog and a great upland hunter. The German Shorthair Pointers are a great breed for active hunting but are very high energy and are hard to get to sit still. She hates the waiting between flights. Robb's dog, Rocky, is an English Lab and a great waterfowl dog. He is very patient and obedient in the blind, however, he is not good at pointing with upland birds. Once he finds a bird, he flushes it, so you have to work close and keep vigilant... Hope this helps...

  • Holy sky bustin

  • The only negative thing I'd have to say is couldn't you get a better color than white for the cup??? That would stick out, the calling don't sound too great, but it obviously gets the birds in and that's all you can ask for. Just cuz it sounds bad to human ears, the geese obviously thinks its right, that's the sign of a good caller. Great video and good hunt, keep whackin' em boys!

  • Thanks! The white cup IS a liability and was hidden very well before the birds came. It does make a difference! The calling is good in my book when it fools Geese. Those computer-chair hunters may not think so but a pile of Geese after the hunt says otherwise...

  • perhaps a ghillie coffee cup cover would help?

  • this is just the way i goose hunt but i usually have more than one person calling

  • Yes, we often have more people calling too. Only one person calls when to get 'em though...

  • also i never said video sucked i think its great just the calling was bad ! just like some of the other comments!!!! you got

  • OK, but you don't have to be all negative in your comments. Yes, the flute call sounds terrible up close, but it gets far-off birds curious enough to come in-- it carries for over a mile... If Robb was bad at calling, we'd have nothing but boring hunts. They typically are hot and heavy, however, and cut short only by State limits...

  • nobody sounds good get a short reed and really learn how to call but good job on the set up and cove is sweet !

  • yah luv the loading part

  • the one drinking the coffe and blowing the call sucks

  • The one without any videos of his own sucks. Post something, anything, showing your skills, if you've got any. Otherwise, get a life beyond trolling other people's videos and leaving A-hole comments. At the very least, watch some Hooked On Phonics videos and learn how to spell. You make yourself look like a retarded Roger Ebert.

  • you are upset on my coment you must be the one drinking maybe i should not have used the word sucks but keep on trying to call if anything you will be good at a new year eves party

  • I'm not the one with the coffee, I'm the one who shot and edited the video. The one drinking coffee has been Goose hunting for many, many years and gets the birds to decoy almost every time. He can out-call any of us... I agree the Flute call sounds like crap up close but it gets the attention of birds that are way out better than the Olt call.

  • I disagree that he can outcall everybody. Calling only has a huge affect when trying to get birds into fields they arent using. when your where the birds wanna be calling has little affect and the birds are gonna come in contrary to whether there is any calling or not

  • I meant he can outcall any of US. (the Kettlebottom Crew) I'm absolutely sure there are others who are a lot better than Robb at calling but his skills bring the Geese into range-- which is good enough for us!

  • shitest calling ive ever heard but hey i guess it works

  • The "flute" call sounds nothing like a Goose up close and is only used at long range, to get the Geese to turn toward us. It is high-pitched and carries a very long way. Once they get close, we switch to Olt calls that are much more realistic...

  • were is rhode island was this?, i live in RI to. coool video=]

  • nice

  • At 4:00 that looks so cool! Great video and what is that decoy called the one that flaps?

  • The wing-flapping decoy is another of Mark's toys-- he's a Goose Hunting Commando!! He has all the toys, right down to Ghille suit and tactical vest, and all the latest gear! I don't know who makes it or what it's called but have seen them for sale in the Cabela's catalog. Thanks for watching and I'm really glad you enjoyed the video!

  • nice shooting and nice hiding spot

  • Thanks! We had permission at a local farm, helping to control the Goode flocks. The farmer had really terrible issues with pH and too much nitrogen in the Goose droppings. Those things are destructive and overpopulated-- and tasty to boot!

  • Nice video but lose the guy with the god awful calling

  • need a lot of lead to bring down birds that size. nice shooting. and they're pretty high as well

  • Thanks! It was a great day in the field! In Rhode Island, however, lead is not allowed for hunting waterfowl-- non-toxic shot only. We are also limited to BB shot size. These restrictions are understandable and fair but makes the hunt harder. Good thing those Geese wanted in to that field so bad!!

    Ty

  • forgot about the lead cartridges restrictions, we actually have the same rules in europe. we're meant to use bismuth cartridges for duck shooting, especially if the birds if are to be sold.

  • fuckin sweet
