There is. Just apply the chroma key filter and the color corrector to the top clip and no filter to the bottom one.

Yes. There is a new thing called QuickTime X that plays videos and things like that for you. But it now has an option to record for you :)

I didn't try it out yet. I had SL installed just long time enough to determine that neither Cubase nor my TC Electronic gear worked properly. So I had to use a rescue HD I have with Leopard installed, and let the experiments for the future, since at this moment I'm in the middle of a project and I need everything just work fine. A real pitty, SL was terribly quicker and the new features were awesome.

yea just like what noise59 said, spilt the clip where u want the effect to end with the razor tool. This will make no difference to the video, but the effect will end at the split.

How do you split a video in half when it's in the timeline? like make one video into two.

@McyMayhem The shortcut for the razor blade tool is B, hit that and your cursor becomes the razor tool. Hover over clip where you want to split it, then click. hit the letter A on your keyboard to get back to your arrow cursor.

hey, yer u will need a green screen of some sort, or just a surface thats all the same colour. Chroma Keyer just gets rid of a colour of your choice, in your case green.

However, I do have a problem & I'd love if someone knew how to fix it. I'm very new to editing. I imported my footage, divided it into subclips & it worked ok in the viewer. I got halfway through & suddenly one of the clips is out of sync. It works in the viewer but when I made the in/out points & dragged it to the timeline the audio is out of sync by about a second! Any ideas why, or what I could check?
