Were you able to measure the RPM of the tire? I made one a while back that threw about 50 feet...used a drill and got the wheel up to 1861 RPM. It looks like yours gets a lot more distance though
you were not adjusting the angle of attack, more the launch angle. Angle of attack would be the angle made at the centre of the disc with respect to the magnitude velocity vector. ie throwing disc level and straight but having the disc itself at a seperate angle increasing the discs lift vector.
