@Darklisk I believe its to emphasize their "street racer" character. Japanese culture is known for being clean and respectful to the land, so them throwing the cig would mean they are rebellious and "badass"

My mom owns a Honda odyssey and my friend (who drifts) was used to driving his parent's civic. He stomped the gas and the thing outperforms our other cars including the subaru outback (which has a good engine). It's acceleration is no thing to sniff at. And i know because i have been in the drivers seat of a few good cars. Don't say crap about the V-tec if you don't know about it.

This is why Initial D is awesome, they have these things... but even the boring races are fun because they show you the challengers' reactions when they lose. Example: This can't be happening! O_O GHOST! O0O Heh he sucks, OMG HE GOT THROUGH ME?! T.T

@SuperWerp Get firefox and install Add Blocker Pro I did it and no more annoying adds 10 seconds into any videos or video adds. I can finally enjoy internet videos again. The whole reason I watch internet videos over the tv is for no adds.
