Beautiful. I'm a 45 year old white woman who never got to hear song this until now. Tonight I heard about this piece during the election news. So I come to YouTube to search, and find all these wonderful recordings. And this anthem is better really because the U.S. anthem is a war song (yuck). Time for us whites to step down and let the country become a true melting pot.

True, but it is time for all Americans to step up and realize that we are a people & we owe it to each other to face the rising sun each day and renew our promise to God, counry, & family!!! We are one big melting pot, & we need to recognize the good in each individual, then we know when we see bad & can act accorcingly!!!! God Bless!!!!

On the Tom Joyner Mornign Show Tavis asked every black person in America to do something to let the Republican Nominees know that they just can't skip out on the African American Debate as they did the one on Telemundo. I don't like to talk too much so I figured there was no better statement!!! So's use your electronic power to let America and the Republican party know that we're not accepting being ignored by the Powers That Be, anymore.
