I just have to say this: I was a gutiar player in a half-baked power trio in the late 70's. Some on this post have no idea of the the painful process of slowing an LP down to 16 trying to figure out some of these guitar parts! Count your blessings to actually be able to play/stop/reverse "how to play" interviews with great guitarist like Trower. (though the video IS bad - LOL)

I don't think this is Trower playing that's why you can't make out the video. Look at the guitar closely, it's not the type of strat Trower plays. The riff sounds like Trower, but not quite the why Trower plays them.
