Two episodes of the brand new Futurama Season, Season 6 have been leaked and I have uploaded some clips of them and a link to watch them online for free. Please go to my profile and check it out, I love the new episodes and I'm sure you will. :)
totally original band Bills guitar work outstanding i saw this band 6 to 7 times these videos are made in heaven and a part of British glamrock history thank god for the footage. Thank you thank you thank you for posting
I remember seeing them at Hammersmith(i think) in the 70s and Bill doing a 30min solo and the rest of the band went off stage and they still did another 10mins of the song when they came back on - can anybody remember the song - have been racking my brains for years trying to remember the song
I think the song might have been Adventures In A Yorkshire Landscape. He did use to extend the guitar solo in this song for quite some time. One of the few guitarists that was always note perfect playing live!
Here he has the original fixed tailpiece AND the Bigsby. He didn't really loom the strings through all that did he? He was right at home with this 335
that's more than obvious. His stuff refused to be pigeonholed in the 70s as it does today! Bill is so unique & damned prolific as well. His music remains a big influence on where I wanted to go as a guitarist.
These guys were at least five years ahead of their time. This was the first non-progressive band I was willing to listen to back in the day, and they had a huge influence on my playing style. Futurama is an all around great album. I would love to see a clip of Music in Dreamland.
I'm a Huge Bebop FAN , Bill Nelson's guitar playing inspired me when I was learning to play. I was able to see them live three times and they kicked ass and their music still Kicks after all these years. Bill Nelson where ever you are THANK YOU.
The fact that this song is now 33 years old and sounds even better today says it all. Bill Nelson is a genius and Be Bop Deluxe will live on for ever through their music, thanx for the wonderful memories guys!!
Now that is cracking good video! Loved these guys before they got into synth junk with Red Noise. RIP Charlie T...Love to see more form this episode of Whistle Test..
saw bbd 3 times and they were wicked, drastic and axe victim what albums they were as well as the rest never saw a man play the guitar better even now
Awesome.... was privileged to have seen Be Bop 3 times live at the Glasgow Apollo between 1976 and 1978.This track Maid In Heaven was the first of their songs I ever heard when a friend at school kept singing it, I listened to the Futurama album in early 76 and was hooked for ever after that! Can't believe 30 years have now passed !!
i drive past the house where bill was brought up every day in wakefield during work so cannot ever forget them. i played bass in a band for many years & covered maid in heaven , gotall the albums even northern dream.
Great! All those years I listened to my Be Bop Deluxe records and wondered what it must have been like to see them play. Thanks for posting this stuff.
my dad was the keyboard player for be bop,but made the stupid mistake of leaving!

They were too good for the masses. I got them , you got them but the people who would buy JEDWARD would never get them.
