@deeliteart Fender Jazz Bass with a good amp maybe? Play around with the EQ on bothe the amp and the instrument and you'll get it.

also...if i may suggest...play the night version of the song..my freind zuma has done this version as you probably know...but if you can pull off the 45 seconds extra in the nigt version (clean) thats great...i love te night version best...also are you using some sort of filter? you are a great player im just trying to figure out what you did..

hi there...

ive got an aria pro II sb 1000 bass..the same one he used...i think you did a good job..but as you sorta said there are some differnces...i think the aria has this honky-ness tone to it that makes it sound good..try playing it with more treble mixed in so it doesnt sound drowned out..but other wise i think you did great...pretty jazz bass...love the block inlays...

Your right, basslines like this and Rio are really fiddly and take some practice. Probably spent more time trying to get this one right than on any of the others.

Thanks for the comment. Your correct about them being underrated, perhaps because they also spent time on their image they were perceived as lacking substance. The majority of todays "young pretenders" are'nt in the same league.
