  • I'm in awe, this is terrific!

  • Hats off to the restoration crew. But the information on this Jenny is not correct. A previous owner in Ohio registered this airplane with the FAA years ago as an experimental (as with all JN4s) and simply gave it serial #1. This is a Springfield Aircraft JN built under contract w/ Curtiss. Its really #5137 ordered Oct 18, 1917. This is a beautiful airplane but the story is purely fabricated. The real story is much better and they should be telling that one. No Jenny ever carried #1.

  • But there was no Curtiss Jenny s/n 1, Curtiss numbered their aircraft consecutively starting with the early planes, so the first Jenny would have had a serial number in the 4 digits. This "s/n 1" must've been given to this aircraft later in its life.

  • Great video of the very first Curtiss "Jenny" that came out of the factory. It is simply amazing that this aircraft is still in existence.

  • Congrats to Terry, Tom, Jeremy, and all of the WAAAM family on this awesome event!

And thanks to you Roy for posting this great video.

  • Hello Roy,

It was the best 17 minutes I have ever had on utube.
