Those old jeeps were fun,but you had to keep them under around 25-35 mph on normal curving turns, or it's "Roll-Over Time", and roll bars weren't standard from what I remember. I almost tipped over once... almost.
They were so unsafe overall that when the military got rid of the M151, they were destroyed rather than selling them to civilians, and face a multitude of lawsuits that the injuries and deaths those jeeps would have produced.
@xn4jv3 yeah, my dad had his jeep flip over on him once whilst on a jeep course on a hill. Luckily he landed in a ditch and covered himself so his men just flipped the jeep over and got him out.
times have changed. all we get are stock ford rangers.
