I do not think that the dust storm is a fault. Everyone was too busy texting, and looking at their GPS to find what fucking fast food place they wanted to fill their fat face and not paying attention...
@Amberdennoa are you serious??? your really gonna post something like this on this video? three people died 2 of which i know... Grow the fuck up and gtfo of here!
yeah i remember getting that one wrong when i was testing to get my permit. haha i thought that you were supposed to go slow and you know just be careful but it does say to pull the car over on the side of the road until the duststorm passes, atleast the arizona dmv ones do.
yea, hearts and prayers to the families of all....back in like march i was driving home from tucson to yuma and when i got to gila bend, all of a sudden i couldnt see..i was caught right in the middle of one...its very hard to see and it was during the day..all the cars including me slowed down to like 20 miles per hour..its tough..be careful out there
i live right down the road from this tragedy and even coached one of the teen that lost his life my daughter was a good friend to them both katie and sunshine the world lost two great kids today you will be missed
i hear about death all the time, doesnt bother me. I dont know these people and i was pissed when i heard about it, cause it was gonna slow my drive home. Ive had tears at least 3 times today, i cant stop thinking about it, i dunno why, but this one hit me hard, i had selfish thoughts and 3 kids died, and it wasnt because of bad driving, im crying again typing this, and its too late to take back what i was thinking. 9 big rigs...i couldve been one of them, i could of killed somebody.
i would say my prayers go out, but im not religious...but my thoughts go out to the familys of the deceased, and to the survivors, who no doubt are blaming something they did, or wish they did differant blaming themselves for the losses of 3 lives. They are stuck with the guilt of something they couldnt control. Most may have survived, but nobody is OK after that. So helpless, nothing you can do. Poor familys you can donate, all the money in the world wont bring the kids back, or help forget.
drove by it this afternoon comin home from tucson....pretty awful. a 14 year old boy and his 17 yo sister was driving were killed, and a 25 year old man in a pickup was killed by his own father who was following him in a big rig. Sad day.
dunno if youve seen the dust storms in AZ, but they fly low, and you dont see them coming, nice day 1 sec, pitch black the next, when something your not expecting happens that fast, takes a second for your brain to compute. causes a second of panic..a second is too long at 75mph. If everybody used the hammer lane for passing like it was meant for, it still wouldve been bad, but not as bad. You get slow drivers in the fast lane and impatient assholes tailgating, then a dust storm hits, game over
plus at 75mph, you wouldve rolled and prolly killed yourself doing that, small shoulder, and a good 45 degree slope for about 15-20ft at that location, hard to see from the air, but when i drove by they had some floodlight trailers and a big rig wrecker off the side hooking up to some wreckage, the floodlight booms barely stuck up over the level of the pavement. I would have to agree to take my chances before i killed anybody else, but its hard to say until you're put in that situation.
wow thats crazy i had a dream like last night or maybe yesterday that i was on a high way and a huge dust storm like came over the highway and i had to pull off to the side and people were just zooming along like idiots
from the coast of S. California to Arizona and probably beyond, the winds were hell acious last night and still throughout today...woke us out of sleep...does not surprise me a bit...HAARP at work?
I know the 2 people that died.. sad knowing that they r gone ): R.I.P Sunshine nd Katie.. (My sister went to school with them in CG)

Remember, please stop 13 year olds from driving. Rebecca Black taught us the hard way.

damn... which is harder to see in fog or dust?
geeoffchin 2 years ago 2
Well fog is water, it's not such a solid, therefore the grit of dust would be harder imo.
