No plants are not. Plants may have defense mechanisms against predators and other things but they are not aware of their own existence which defines intelligence.

Chris, people. Is everything a conspiracy now? This video completely misses the point. Remember, Vegetarians and other plant eaters typically eat FRUIT or the fruited parts of plants... benefiting the plant by passing the undigested or detached seeds in an almost perfectly produced, natural fertilizer. You don't murder a tomato plant by eating a tomato, you are a cog in the machine, a bee harvesting pollen, assisting the tomato plant by passing tomato seeds.

Vegetarians are just as retarded as dedicated meat eaters( I am unsure if there is an official name for them except carnivores, but that normally describes a species as a whole.). Look at nature. There are herbivores (ie. Cows), carnivores (ie. Lions), and omnivores (ie. Humans). Humans are naturally omnivores, therefore if you religiously eat meat or are a dead set vegetarian, you are screwing with nature.
