I am glad the law finally changed from a "carnal knowledge of a woman". It is disgusting that humans can be assaulted sexually and not have any grounds to stand on.

I think we need to allow women to accuse men of rape whenever they feel like it. However, if it turns out to not be true, then the women get the EXACT SAME punishment that the man would have received if he had been found guilty. It's called equality. I would vote for it every time.

Rape is extremely under reported, only 21% of stranger rapes and 2% of acquaintance rapes are reported (Koss et al. 1987) - I don't have a citation at the moment, but from memory the prevalence of acquintance rape overall is ~73%.
