  • I'm such a youtube junkie to have found this . . .

  • I wish they would play this live . . .

  • Love this song. :')

  • That photo of the band standing with the cross at the beginning of the video -- where can I find this picture in higher resolution?? Someone please.

  • this band sounds so good thus far. discovered their sound on Six Feet Under. !!

  • Saw em at Jazz Fest in New Orleans, pure bliss

  • i love how this band shows they have compassion for the music they make. it seems like with some songs the lyrics describe things about them or about things in anyone's life. their music somehow soothes me with the way it sounds. that's why i love this band :)

  • What album???

  • They have so many songs that I didn't even know about! I thought the only songs AF ever had were on ARCADE FIRE EP, FUNERAL, NEON BIBLE, and THE SUBURBS. I've never even heard of the song Lenin, or Burning Briges, Breaking Hearts, Guns of Brixton, or Brazil! Where did they come from? Once again, when I thought I knew AF, they only become more and more mysterious!

  • this sounds like coldplay but this is the only one that sounds like coldplay

  • i love the feeling of listening to a song for the first time, and simply feeling: fucking hell this is it. i am having that feeling right now.

  • i have no idea what it is about this band that i like, but i fucking love this band!

  • The Suburbs lost a bit of the emotion that these demos, and other albums had I think. It sounded a bit too perfect sometimes...still epic though.

  • @redcloud02 I think it lost a lot of the scratchy down-to-earth-ness that the demos and ep had, but gained a lot of maturity and self reflection on the way. both beautiful in their own way

  • @DomWrath Yes, still great, but sorta miss this type of sound that I think they finally threw off after Neon Bible.

  • sooo good

  • An old man has a heart attack in the movie theater While my friend calls an ambulance Buster Keaton's dancing I wait for the punchline But it never comes Two blind kids in wheelchairs are crossing the street And they get hit by the ambulance Cause the light was green And I wait for the punchline But it never comes Promised you that I'd be true And now chandeliers are crashing down to the ground Waitresses drop their trays Trains derail with passengers While mother snakes eat...
  • Favorite Groups of my time Arcade Fire, Radiohead, Muse, etc... Goodness I love good music!

  • @harryeffingpotter- I whole-heartedly agree! By far, the best band that ever formed and the old stuff was what got me into Arcade Fire in the first place :)

  • My goodness, I am completely taken away by this song.

  • I absolutly love this song! Its so sad, and beautiful.

  • arcade fire will never disappear

  • the lyrics of this song is very sad

  • Beautiful Song Indeed.

  • So god damn beautiful

  • when the bass and drums kick in its so fucking good i want to cry, and sometimes when ive had a couple of drinks i do in fact cry. best band of our time, hands down. and this old stuff proves it 100%

  • @harryeffingpotter Not so sure about that and I think Wyn Butler would agree. Have you tried Radiohead. They are my number 1 band and Arcade Fire is joint 2nd place with Grandaddy. Thom Yorke is The Emperor as far as I'm concerned and Wyn is just one of "The Kids". I'd try the Radiohead song "Punchdrunk Lovesick Singalong" it kind of fits with this song.

  • @harryeffingpotter If you want to get drunk and cry listen to "Jed The Humanoid" by the band Grandaddy. Poor, poor Jed.

  • wow i love this sond it sooooo cooool :)

  • Is this in any of the albums? or is it just an outcast like Cars And Telephones?

  • It was on their demo album in 2001, which is actually entitled "2001".

  • @PinguisMonachus accidents is on the album "Micsellaneaous"

  • @Tginker what micsellaneaous what album is that

  • @iliketacos27 ... okay, it's listed as "miscellaneous in my Itunes!" Obviously not an album... sounds like its as the guy sadi, bootleg, demo, etc.etc.etc. I got it from my flatmate! I'm sure it's been used in an advert at some point in the UK!

  • @Tginker k thanks

  • wow... this is gorgeous. i had never heard it before. i'm in love with it. if someone knows how to purchase it, i really want to use it for a lyrical dance

  • I lovee this songgg!

I can't find the tabs for it though :\

  • One of my fave's ever....just BEAUTIFUL!

  • favorite song.

  • i think that these are some of the most heat braking lyrics that were ever written.. its music in its purest form..thanks for posting

  • uhh...how is this spam??

  • the 2001 demos. its a bootleg that i gave an arm and a leg to get from this guy who has connections with the band. don't know how this guy got it but its hard to find. in the attic is in my opinion the best song on the album.

  • I'm not trying to sound cool, but it's pretty easy to find

  • haha yeah. fail on my part for going to all that trouble.

  • oh dear.

the intro just rips my heart out

  • I've been looking for this song forever, tip of the hat to you my friend.
