Yea, I'm not sure if you had the opportunity to go out immediately after the tornado hit. It was pretty crazy... driving around the neighborhood was difficult due to everyone's lights being out and trees blocking streets. Some of the trees were "about" to break off, and all they need was a touch, so I had to avoid those routes all-together... If an EF-1 does this sort of damage, I can only imagine an EF-3 or 4, or even 5!
As you might already know... it was an EF-1 tornado that hit Mount Prospect. Immediately after the tornado tore through, I checked out the residential area West of River Road and North of Camp McDonald, pretty much identical damage... plenty of uprooted trees. The only reason I bothered to check is because my ears popped as soon the wind picked up to an insane intensity (indicating the pressure suddenly dropped due to the tornado)... and I saw many trees turn nearly sideways during!

I took another video on the south side of Des Plaines. Looks just as bad if not worse.
