Your page says your from Germany.... not that it really matters!
Regarding this "documentary", it is just a tv show. In America. Of course they would tell the "good" stories... they have a specific audience to entertain. Just enjoy it for what it is :)
And everyone says that people that disagree with them are "brainwashed by the media" it just depends what media you are taking in and what their agenda is. Goes both ways.
This documentary makes me sick, it just oozes of a distanced and disgusting american view of the entire middle east conflict, a playground for new military technology to be tested on human beings.
@heiminator2 And you ooze the usual european anti americanism. Just because a country has superior technology does not make them the bad guy. Our minds like to "cheer" for the underdog, ie "oh those poor palistinians" or whatever. Would the world be a better place if the Americans stayed out of all the conflicts? I'm not so sure... Would the world be a better place if Israel could not defend itself against it's neighbours who want to destroy Israel? I think not.
@ohreallyandwhyisthat i beg to differ sir, you "ooze" drastic stigmatization. Im just an american who's trying to avoid this countries media-brain-wash, trying to sell history as a populistic good. I did enjoy the documentary, but no matter who is right or wrong, both sides deserve respect, and this documentary does not offer this in my opinion. And no, the world would not be a better place, for americans that is.
so why did the sparrows fail?

@kakisala Sparrows have never been reliable. Even as late as the First Gulf War its kill probability was around 40%.

@bfahren How do AMRAAMs perform compared to that?
kakisala 10 months ago
@kakisala According to Wikipedia they have a kill probability of 90%. Having active radar guidance (among other things) sure helps.
