People need to understand that a 2jz-ge isnt just the same engine but with no turbo, the 2jz-gte has larger injectors,sequential twin turbos, etc etc.

Quick question, I traded my g35 for a is300 simply cause of the 2jz. can i install the stock twin turbos from a supra and the car be ok? a kid that lives near me just bought a supra and single turbo'd it and he's sellin the stock turbo's is it worth it? and can an auto tranny take that power?

@gonza1152 LMAO u did a wrong trade my friend. U gotta research before you do things, the IS300 is a 2jz-GE and the supra is a 2JZ-GTE. Lexus nerfed the crap out that IS just to make it more quiet and smooth to drive. The 5speed manual for the IS can break at a minimum of 300whp, depending on your luck. The motor as well has weaker rods and pistons as compared to the Supra TT. Its not simple boosting an IS but when u do is hella fun!

Very nice video. Thanks for the info on the cars too. That helps too. i like how both have the same motor, mods etc. (except turbo size). But of couse the supra has it. it has a sportier chassis and is lighter. I have an is300 and love it. Great video though.

Both cars are running Precision turbos and 264 cams...the Supra is running a 76gts and the IS300 is running a 72gtq
