It is a glitch because it takes no skill or talent and works in almost every situation.

To do this choose a DE contain in a 3-3-5 (three linemen on the line) which can be found in almost every playbook. To pinch and move up the linemen first press LeftButton then up on the left stick then press LeftButton and up on the right stick.

This can be stopped by bringing one or two runningbacks up to block or just using a fast QB and booting outside.

This is most definitely a glitch. The reason being is that when you run a Contain play and change the assignment of the DE's, their assignment is still greyed even though it isn't supposed to be. The fact that their assignment is still greyed is what causes them to burst off the line and get through the way they do.

This was a programming error and hence a glitch. If this wasn't a programming error, then it would work regardless of what play was chosen to run it.
