  • I completely disagree with you, making bread at home is ridiculously easy and I think tastes better then breads at the store

  • I love your eyes! @.@

  • did you say 50 or 15 minutes?please answer!

  • @lonalb 15 minutes ;)

  • Nomnomnomnomnommmmmm

  • good work

  • Your making me hungry...need to make me some sourdough bread then turn it into garlic bread.

  • so put it in the oven just for make the butter melt? can i just use a microwave? because i dont have oven in my house..

  • @audias060695 You can, but the bread won't crisp up in the microwave ;)

  • Now wait I'm confused. when you cut the bread, did you use a knife?

  • why do you have to wrap the bread in foil?

  • @FireIceX To help stop the bread drying out in the oven, and to reduce the chance of the bread burning ;)

  • Love your show! You're a great on camera personality. Smart cooking ideas. Thank You

  • Your making me hungry! Im going to add parsley as your right, it does add pretty color to it. I get 2 loaves, make them both, and put one in a plastic bag and freeze it for another time.

  • ...yum! But I'm in love with good sourdough - most commerical sourdoughs use citric acid for flavour - completely different.

Mmmmmmm....garlic bread. (I should make some, but I'm out of bread.)

  • LOL Baguette is french for 'bread' i.e any bread. Just clearing that up.

  • this is easier if you cut the bread like a submarine then slice the bread after baking

  • honey, garlic out of a jar is completely different. Try the fresh stuff> Its sooo much better. So worth it.

  • @snipeliger I've never really noticed any difference between the two. One is still in the bulb and one is pre-minced. I'd prefer the jarred stuff because it can be easily sealed in an airtight container and stored, then pulled out whenever I need it and used. I don't have to go through all of the trouble of removing it from the bulb, peeling it, then trying to mince it into tiny little pieces. I don't have that much patience when I'm hungry LOL! XD

  • are you a youtube partner?

    because you should be :)

  • YUMMY!!!!!!

Interesting that you cut it all the way through? I don't because I try to cut it so it's in tact and you can just tear a piece off.

Also What I like to do with mine is used mixed herbs with it.

  • Ya! Looks and sounds tAisti! )

  • man i love your "YUM" :)

  • hey when you were putting butter on the bread..why were your hands shaking ? lol

  • I love garlic bread. Garlic bread is my favorite food, I could eat it all day long and never stop.

  • i like your eyes

  • looks good! ill probly make it tomorrow! :D

  • i am making Garlic Bread as i watch this

  • nicee !

  • this is so very easy..!!!

  • how do u make the garlic paste ?

  • @lkb94 You can either buy a jar or minced garlic, or use a garlic crusher to crush fresh cloves of garlic ;)

  • @lkb94 fuckwit

  • @lkb94 that was foolish to ask, you just grind garlic cloves, fast and simple

  • @holysh1tdubs I Am

  • It can save a bit of time to not sever each piece of bread from the loaf, i.e., cut down 99% of the way, but don't cut each piece off. You can still use a knife or even a spoon to add the garlic butter, and the fact that the pieces have not been severed actually makes them hold together, keeping that extra bit of flavour in there.

I must try adding the basil.

    Thanks for the video.

  • @OnePotChefShow Okay thankyou

  • can you leave the Parsley out? or does it add more flavour to it?

  • @Tring675 It's mostly for presentation, feel free to leave it out if you wish ;)

  • WOW THIS IS REALLY EASY!! GOING TO TRY IT THANKS ALOT :D

can i add some cheese on it haha

  • @botanyao Absolutely - cheesy garlic bread is delicious :)

  • U R SO FUCKING COOL :) !!

  • gaalic

  • r u using salted or unsalted butter? :)

  • @sheila92lala I used salted butter ;)

  • isit better to use salted butter or the unsalted one? :)

  • @sheila92lala Better to use normal (salted) butter for this, as this is a savory dish ;)

  • Comment removed

  • @OnePotChefShow ... Can I use a Microwave oven instead of gas oven?

  • @akakooldood You can, but don't use the foil. Keep in mind, the garlic bread will not crisp up in the microwave ;)

  • @OnePotChefShow Wow, thanks! that was a speedy reply... and all your videos are amazing!

loads of love form India... :D

  • Do you know these recipes off your head?

  • @Inigor2d2 Most of them -but some are requests and I have do some research ;)

  • I have a great tip for you :-)

Slice the French loaf in the same size pieces, but don't slice it all the way trough. Then you fill the spaces up with lots of garlic and parsley butter and wrap it in foil :-)

Much easier and much quicker ;-)

When it's crispy because it was in the oven the pieces will just break off very easely ;-)

    Hope this helps ;-)

Greetings from a Dutchie in South Africa

  • Thank you soo much for the video! It's really helpful!

But if i was to use a garlic clove would i chop it into fine little pieces or.. like what would i do the clove??

  • @twilightlover4ever15 Use a garlic crusher to mince the garlic, or simply chop it very finely with a knife ;)

  • @OnePotChefShow

Oh.. okay.. but would it taste the same if i chopped the garlic finely??

    Thank You!!

  • @twilightlover4ever15 The garlic pieces might be a little bigger than if you were using minced, but it will taste the same ;)

  • @OnePotChefShow

    Ooo... Okay!! Thank YOU!!

  • @OnePotChefShow I just made it- I put my garlic in the food processor and then put in my butter to mix it all together.... it literally took me 20 seconds and tasted phenomenal! good recipe!

  • I melt all the ingreidience on a double boiler and I put it on my bread. then I just sprinkle sum cheese and bake in the oven! YUMMMY!!!

  • can i microwave it instead?

  • @T3mmiHu8 You can, but don't use the foil. The bread won't crisp up in the microwave, so keep that in mind ;)

  • do you work as a chef?

  • woooow just beautiful. lovely. i would sprinkle some more italian herbs for a fragrant! オイシソー!

  • @Msjanedoe124 see but onepotchef knows how to make good tasting garlic bread the soft texture way....mmm so much better then crunchy garlic bread :P

  • Love it! Thanks for the recipe!!!!!!

  • please, pleeeeeeease open up a restaurant! :D

  • dam that looks awesome :) will try it

  • Awesome mate, that's made me hungry for some!

  • @AussieGriller Thanks mate ;)

  • I don't understand going through the trouble of buying a baguette, making the garlic butter, assembling it. Why not just buy some garlic bread?! I could understand if it was a super duper recipe or something but its basically replicating shop bought garlic bread.

  • @Wardimus83 The same could be said for any recipe - why make it when you can buy it. the advantage here is shop-bought garlic bread is usually bland and soggy. This has a crisp crust and you can adjust the garlic flavor to your own personal taste ;)

  • @OnePotChefShow Yeah, I suppose being able to adjust the Garlic to your taste is a plus.

  • im sick and have to cut dairy soooooo sadcraving garlic bread so much right now........

  • @samuraipencils I hope you feel better soon ;)

  • I love it! So good.

  • @MyMary55 Thanks for watching!

  • @OnePotChefShow absolutely fantastic videos mate !!!! i subbed and will be making this!!!!

  • Actually, I can't understand why in Australia/England/USA people think that garlic bread is an Italian dish...it is a your invention T.T!!!

  • @cucciolotta5992 I didn't say it was an Italian dish, I said it is commonly served with Italian food ;)

  • @OnePotChefShow Yes, I know, but I've been in Australia and in UK and garlic bread is always considered an italian dish, (the brand "la famiglia")...however I think your channel is fantastic ;) your english is very clear and easy to understand and your shooting (I don't know if it's the correct word XD I mean the way you film) is perfect! bye!

  • whats with your eyes?

  • @dkzmoeffe I use them for looking at stuff ;)

  • @OnePotChefShow Don't get me wrong here, they are just kind off, animal-listic? If thats the word. Lol

  • is the bread soft after you oven it?

  • @300urmum Yes, it's soft on the inside with a crisp crust on the outside ;)

  • love it :) any tips on getting rid of garlic breath hahah

  • @johngillies13 LOL the way I make my "super strong" garlic bread, I recommend a bucket of mouthwash LOL

  • yummy :D

  • @BibleStudy888 really? I don't think it costs that much in Colorado...

but, could you make bread, with the yeast, flour, eggs, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, milk, or whatever else for only five dollars? I wouldn't have the bargain-hunting ability, patience, or time to do that :(

  • @hazelioness I agree - even if it is cheaper to make it (money-wise) the process of actually making the bread from scratch would make it too time consuming to be worth the effort.

  • For an extra yummy twist try adding some parmesan cheese to the garlic butter

  • @tigerange77 Absolutely - cheesy garlic bread is amazing!

  • LOL, making bread in America is much cheaper than buying it. Especially if you want it to taste good. It's between $4-5 a loaf here in Hawaii.

  • @BibleStudy888 Making bread at home (here in Australia) is quite expensive. One french loaf (baguette) bought from the bakery costs about $2.00. It would cost about $10.00 to get the ingredients to make it at home.

But as I said in the video, feel free to make the bread yourself if that's a better option for you ;)

  • Looks absolutely delicious!

  • @popsugartvyum Tastes even better ;)

  • I like it!! nice recipe, I'm going to try it out since my sis love it!

    P.S. I still like your eyes *_*

  • @luvyuyu84 LOL thanks ;)

  • When I make my own recipe of ghetto garlic bread. I just throw some toast in the toaster and put the butter on then I hit it up with some parsley and garlic. Sometimes I might throw in Italian seasoning because I'm a loose cannon, although as of late I've now combined onion and garlic to make something awesome for a snack. The Onion powder reminds me of delicious onion bagels esp when eaten on the right bread and garlic doesn't need a reason, it goes where it pleases in the savory food world.

  • @Makron5 That sounds awesome - I'll give that a go sometime ;)

  • butter is way better, and taste better too. the hydrogenated vegetable oil crap is really bad for your health.

  • @en3rgieboy Everything is bad for you to some degree , but I question if margarine is worst for you than pure butter - the animal fat and cholesterol alone would make butter the less healthy option.

  • You're a brilliant man.

  • getting ready to eat breakfast here...I'm thinking garlic toast...lol...yummy!

  • @potion52 That'll be an interesting start to the day ;)

  • looks very easy, to think I had to order a pizza to have garlic bread. gonna save this one to my favs

  • @AddictiveBreedNICK This is sooo much better than that stuff from the Pizza shop - if you love garlic, you'll adore this!

  • @OnePotChefShow i like making pizza ON garlic bread. two great tastes that taste great together!

  • Yum i love garlic bread :D

  • @pocketbikefreak666 Thanks ;)

  • Awesome!

  • @fezan84 I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

  • YUUUUUMMM!!! And so easy + cheap! Love it xoxo

  • @missrockstar22 Thanks for watching :)

  • dude i suggest a better intro like im the one pot chef get ya shit and get out ":D

  • @mkroehnert1 LOL I'm not sure that would be as catchy :P

  • @OnePotChefShow :D you sure eheheheheheh you rock man i want to be your bestie so you can cook for me all the day ahahahahah

  • The one pot chef show has a great intro

  • @OnePotChefShow hey,i just finished making it and its fabulous, absolutely fabulous,Thanks btw:)

  • @adekwan23 You're welcome - glad you enjoyed it :)

  • Mmmmmm delish. Just not something to eat too much of when you're on a date and kissing is involved.. ;)

  • @Aussiegirl265 That might be an issue lol :P

  • @OnePotChefShow can we use different types of bread instead of the French loaf?

  • @adekwan23 Absolutely! Try sourdough bread, a cob loaf or any crusty bread you like ;)

  • QuickQ: Why was half your baguette dusted with flour and the other half not? I first thought It was the light but then noticed the flour on the table haha wierd:P . I do agree with your bread philosophy, however on some occasions its nice to know exactly what goes in and you can personalise it with ingredients you like (time consuming though!)

PS.I LOVE that you wrapped your bread in foil so the garlic bread was soft. I hate any form of toasted/crunchy bread! I always microwave my bread :P

  • @MissPonderosa Actually there was flour all over the bread (it was fresh from the bakery - and they love dusting things with flour!) and I actually had to brush most of it off as it was a little excessive!

I agree with you about toasted bread - I'm not a fan of bread that's been toasted until it's solid. I like a little bit of crust, and a soft moist interior :)

  • what do you mean side dish? I would eat that all day every day! Thanks

  • @XxDominexX LOL me too! :P

  • mmm. i love garlic bread dipped in marinara sauce or topped with cream cheese...mmmmmmm

  • @xhottestpink Yum - sounds delicious :)

  • How would you make this for one or two slices?

  • @MrRallz A crusty roll would probably be the right bread. They come in various sizes, so you could probably get one a bit bigger than two fists together, and then do basically what is shown here, just fewer times :)

  • I like to put in the freezer so its ready to go. Thank you 1PCS.

  • @jasongiddensviper478 When I make Garlic Bread, I usually make two loaves and freeze one in two portions. That way I have plenty of Garlic Bread for whenever I need it ;)

  • Honey, your way is lovely but what I usually do is just a time-saver.. So instead of slicing each slice and then buttering and then sticking it back together....I slice each slice ALMOST to the bottom so its still intact. Slather on your garlic butter between each slice generously, wrap it up in the foil and pop in oven. YUMM!!!

  • @hawtinhawaii That's a good tip - I like your way as well ;)

  • i gotta try this out tonight !

    xx .

  • @Sh3llZeeCouture I hope you enjoy it :)

  • This recipe is deee-licious. You can really easily go to a bakery and buy honey sticks

  • @DaKiLlEr46 I asked at my local bakery, they had never heard of Honey Sticks. If you could tell me what they are, I might be able to find a recipe for you ;)

  • Hmmm, I do that, more or less like that as well, but I don't cut all the way down the loaf, to keep it together I cut about 3/4 of the way and then add butter and sprinkle the garlic after. But, that parsely looks great; so I will try it your way, premixed and then spread it on.

Now, most people I know will have this for dinner, with something Italien like Spahetti with grilled chicken, or something like that. Not me; I'll have it for breakfast w fresh ground brewed coffee, any time of day!: )

  • @Tommy7FilmEpidodes Garlic and Coffee - sounds awesome!

  • @cookiechick123 I live in the uk too, but when I make garlic bread at home I just 2 garlic cloves and just cut them up very tiny :)

  • I love garlic bread, but I've never made homemade garlic bread before, I'll have to try it sometime.
