Because the narrator's message about Tom learning his lesson at the movie's end was interrupted by Tom asking the girl out and the number (1) appearing for his relationship with Autumn, I and a few others had the impression he was going to go through the same cycle all over again.

I love (500) Days of Summer because it is an outstanding and memorable romantic comedy-drama movie.

I can also relate to (500) Days of Summer. I invited this smart and cute girl from school that I have a crush on to come to my 13th brithday party and I told her I liked her and I asked her to be my girlfriend and she said Yes!. That was the happiest day of my life. But then all I cared about was the frist kiss etc and then I told her I love her. I pushed things to far....

Like they might be blind to see like for Summer to actually see Tom truly loved her, and in the end she had to let him go since in a way it did do him a favor it may have hurt as it always does, but at least it let him be free. Also now he may be able to love someone else who will love him back you know. It's bad when people are strung along and are hurt in the end. I know what its like to b tom...
