  • There never was and never will be a performance like this on this song on this earth lol that ending was ridiculous lol especially the key he sang it in

  • Tom Jones is one of the greatest in music past & present!

  • Most sampled track

  • kamil czostkiewicz sings good this song in polish xfactor

  • Oh my God! I just had a climax!

  • i hear this song, i feel much better...!!!

  • g8t song , also Ben E king's version is better.

  • OMG! That man singing this has so much feeling in his voice. What a beautiful and sad song. The Titanic pictures are perfect with it.

  • sends chills up my spine everytime i hear it!

  • Muzyka Toma jest wspaniała i ponadczasowa.

  • Powerful voice, I think he still does Vegas.

  • TJFan your good.... nice song .... thx for the upload

  • Tom Jones at his best and still going strong. The signs of a world class superstar. Carry on Tom for a few more years yet.

  • Oh Mama.....

  • I love Tom Jone's Music

  • Other versions of "I (Who Have Nothing)" have been recorded by Petula Clark, The Spectres, Roberta Flack & Donny Hathaway, Luther Vandross & Martha Wash, Brook Benton, Neil Diamond, Joe Cocker, Normie Rowe, Katherine Jenkins, Linda Jones, Manfred Mann's Earth Band and Status Quo.

Jordin Sparks sang the song during British Invasion Week on the sixth season of American Idol. A studio recording of her performance reached #74 on the Billboard Hot 100 following her win.

  • He jacked this song from Shirley Bassley and then totally butchered it! Way to go Tom Jones. Jerk.

  • Holycow! Add these names to your jerk list:

The original was done by Ben E King in 1963. So he's a jerk too? It's not Shirley Bassey's song. By the way her name is BASSEY, not BassLEY. Now, who's the jerk?

  • Because Shirley Bassey recorded a song does not mean she owns it. As you can see ABOVE lots of other artists have covered it; some would argue their covers were as good or better.

  • I bet you look like a cow too. Leave Tom alone.Jerk

  • Are you replying to Holycowmania?

  • Its not just the song. Its how Tom Jones sing it.

  • Terry Knight and the Pack....who became Grand Funk Railroad. Look it up!

  • Cool sideburns

  • Who sang the original version....does anyone know?

  • Shirley Bassey

  • ben e king!

  • I still haven't seen Titanic and this vid doesn't make me want to watch it.

Tom Jones has quite a voice, tho.

  • To Vonratibor:

I'm sure, you think Great Scott is good, since your speaking of yourself. Why the charade? Are you really trying to compare yourself to the Master; Mr Tom Jones? It's NOT only about singing the song, it's the complete artistry. You have no vocal technique, or stage presence, but keep working at it. Good luck and much success!

  • Yay.. this is not a live performance version...

  • this is from the album: "live at ceasers palace" it is LIVE

  • This version I think is his best second to the original album But I like the Great Scott he also has big pipes he can belt it out too.

  • As usual TopTJFan great video...love Tom singing this song....WHAT A VOICE!!!!!!!!!

  • The video and vocal performance, very well done.Thank you for posting

  • My God.....TRE MEN DOUS

  • I just blew out the speakers on my latop & now I've got to go find my Titanic CD and lust for Leonardo DiCapprio.

    Ashley

  • i dore this sound... ur the best tom.

  • Herbuliss,

Thank you. I appreciate the comment, especially coming from you (a fellow artist). Cheers.

  • I had to add this . The way you matched the song with the video clips...It's very moving. As a Artist , I wanted to say . I think you have made

a moving piece of Art here. Thanks... H.

  • I think he is unreal , and was always kind of under rated....Thanks for this...H.

  • Herbuliss: Tom Jones under rated? Well, certainly not by people who know voices. He was one of the very, very best ever.

  • By whom? But you're right, he is not often mentioned as being very fashionable, more the bad boy somehow. Well, bring on the bad boys!!

  • do u know where i can get the intrumental on this with no vocals

  • I don't understand what this song has to do with that movie and when he says bright sparkling diamond's well that one she has one is clearly dark and not a sparkle in sight maybe in her eyes thinking "God i want this just stick it in my bra and walk off" Haha!! Yes Tom we get the point at the end you love her so no need to whale it that is so last season!!!

  • I seriously think Tom should sing METAL!

  • Agreed..........

    Metal Rules!

    Tom Jones Rules!

    Perfect Match.

  • HA HAAA!! awesome, squeezmemacaroni!! Tom Jones has a pretty big vibrato...much like the singer from Helloween (Michael Kiske) and others. I could TOTALLY see it. Just IMAGINE the talk about it. NO ONE would believe it and I think a lot of people would buy it to check it out!

  • just brill

  • Yo TopTJfan...well done !! Loved the blend of movie to music. Jonesy has the best voice ever... period, full stop, next question !!

  • hey hey i said all by himself

  • well looking out my window is written by Tom..

  • there is always one...ok i inquired. he wrote it WITH HELP.

  • Well book says he wrote 2 songs. So there is 2, thats it

  • Im sorry, Tom wrote 3 songs..

  • Oh lovely! So grand!

  • something funny. daughter of darkness was the only song tom wrote all by himself. and he recorded it (as he put it) "Bloody F****** Pissed".

  • "Looking Out My Window" (with James Taylor Quartet, written by Tom Jones...

  • The Titanic shots ruined the video for me. Just my opinion.Soo i'll watch the other post from now on. But he does a great job of singing it.

  • Hey 310, it was Shirley Bassey that originally sang this song. It was a big hit for her in the 60's.

  • Nope,...it was the great early sixties soul singer, Ben E. King who broke that song. HIS is the original...and still the best; although, Tom Jones is not too far behind his. Bassey's is too mannered and stilted to be a great interpretation

  • GREAT SONG GREAT SINGER

  • thaaaaaaaats ammmaaaaaaaaaaaaazing

  • Super..Thank you Sir.

  • Now THAT'S a singer, ya'll.

  • my favorite is "daughter of darkness" but not available???

  • Does anyone know who ORIGINALLY sang this?

  • Ben E. King in 1963, went to #29

#14 in 1970 for Tom Jones

  • Thanks, my dad said Tom Jones sang it originally so I wanna prove him wrong.

  • Shirley Bassey ("Song-tress", "Balladeer" and "Story-teller"), who coincidentally also hails from Wales in the UK

  • Shirley Bassey sang the original ("Song-tress", "Balladeer" and "Story-teller"), who coincidentally also hails from Wales in the UK

  • it's better when its sung by Jordin Sparks from American Idol

  • I discovered this song when Jordin sang it on American Idol (which she did an awesome job on) I luv this song!! It's just so.......great!

  • who is Ben E King?

  • Early on he sang with the Drifters. (wrote There Goes My Baby) Spanish Harlem, and Stand By Me. you should check these out if you've never heard them.

  • I like this version much better than Shirley Bassey's version. But nothing will ever compare with Ben E. King's original. Nice video, though. Thanks! :-)

  • Nice posting. Thank You

    Ivo :}~
