  • Still gives me goosebumps when she starts singing

  • Happy 69th Birthday Ms. Lewis. Keep that magical voice singing. You are the greatest.

  • now this is music!!!!!!!!!!

  • Unquestionably, the single greatest soul song to come out of the 1960s. And that's saying a lot.

  • @Parrotluver2 I am an oldie freak too. Dick Clark was longest youngest teen in history. He was the boss and we were so lucky to have him introduce sooo very many great artist back in the day. Yup hats off to Dick Clark and Barbara's voice is timeless.

  • Arrangerd/ produced, by The Late-Great, Van McCoy, from Late Summer of '65, I never, ever tire of hearing it, & remebering better times, when we were young, handsome, invincible, & knew we'd always be that way. Wolfsky9

  • @Wolfsky9 Sorry to break it to you but this was not arranged & produced by Van McCoy. It was Arranged by Artie Butler & Produced by Bert Berns.

  • Let's not forget the composer Helen Miller (she also did Gene Pitney's 'It Hurts to Be in Love')

  • What a voice! Fantatstic!

  • Wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This song seems to have been forgotten by radio (they play Baby I'm Yours a LOT). I think it's better than BIY, IMO.

  • @jimandconnie Your opinion is correct. This song is a lot better than Baby I'm Yours.

  • MY GOD....DID I WEAR THIS SONG OUT. I PLAYED THAT 45 OVER AND OVER. ONE OF THE BEST.

  • how nice!

  • It dont get any better than this. Excellent!!!!!

  • When you're young and in love this song melts two hearts into one.

  • This song reminds me of the second I met a boyfriend at a costume party for the first time. Yes, he made me his baby! Very romantic.

  • Such a great song!!!!!!

  • Good song to dance to .

  • I remember this song as a kid when my mom would play it. This is a great song and Barbara sings it so well and so convincing. A pure classic!

  • Hats off to the fantastic Barbara Lewis!!! Her phenomenal song gives me goose bumps all over my body!!!!! THANK YOU, BABYBLUE!!!!!

  • Great, somewhat forgotten song...too bad it was recorded in mono...how lovely it would've been in stereo.

  • At the moment my very favourite track in the world.....and my hard drive is 250gb.....and almost full.......love this sixties stuff.....check out billie davis.....sam hawkins....and ...timi yuro....its great keeping abreast of current music ....but....the very best seems to have been done.....and in the sixties...most of its new to me....and ....WHAT A REVELATION IT IS......!!!!!!!

  • @speedcrane I like that ...the best has been done" no truer words have been spoken!

  • Barbara's vocals have so much range and soul-tugging richness to them. Mariah Carey looks a lot like Barbara, don't ya think?

  • If u like the 60's listen to Bertha tillman, oh my angel, enuf said do it u will love it

  • Gorgeous song by the gorgeous Barbara Lewis.

  • If you think Baby Im your's is a very good song, listen to this one.make me your baby. Excellent memory. I am now in the sixty's again. Sitting with your girl and playin these is a momory getting started. Thank you for this!!

  • Beautiful voice and so comfortable with the songs because she was ahead of her time in writing her own music. Back in the day, it didn't make sense to me that her popularity waned, and it still doesn't make sense. Thank you for posting this great music.

  • @Cornell7074 Your implication is that she wrote "Make Me Your Baby" but she didn't. The song was written by Helen Miller & Roger Atkins.
