  • This is one of my favorites by the tops I belive it was release on the B side of a U.K. single I think some time in the 1970-71-72 range the 4 tops were allways at the top of thier form, from the very early songs though the end. miss you levi , larry and Obie, miss you a lot!!! keep on keeping on Duke!!!!!!, you're doing a great job with the new tops. Even tho' their not the same as with your original life long friends and song mates......We miss them .

  • Every track on this album has top ten quality and would have bee a hit had it been released.

  • aaaah! i owe this one!! bought really cheap!!1 SUPREME SHIT!!!!!

  • This is wonderful ... this music is timeless... I'm 26 years old and I can listen to this as if it was new.... I wish lawrence could have got on more leads...... even though I love Levi to death... but this is a different feel...... I still can here Levi in the back a little. Thank you for posting this I always wondered what happen to that album.... and the songs.... Do you have more from this album?

  • love the lead vocal - brilliant...had been wondering who it was , thought knew it wasn't Levi.. anymore Larry vocals???

  • Yeah i think he sings lead on Call on me

  • @MotownMaster lowrace payton is the lead vocals

  • @barryhawk23 lead vocals is lowrance payton

  • Thanks for sharing..it's as good as you said!

  • makes me want to bust out the old vinyl...thanks for sharing!

  • I remember this! I had that album on an old cassette when I was a teenager is the 80's. This is a fantastic song and there were some unbelievable B sides on that too! Thank you for posting this

  • This song is kind of hot! I like the feel. Never noticed it. Of course I just got this album recently, and have not really listened to it yet, but now I am encouraged to check it out. YReminds me of "Monkey Time" too, but I like this one better!

  • Hi as lyn1954o hints,Love feels like fire was released as a single on UK TMG 829 with il'e turn to stone. Also check out the UK issue of

Marvins-Heard it through the grapevine on the UK issue? Now theres a cracking gem that had NO US release whatsoever! Need Somebody.

PS Big Thanks for putting all these fabulous motown tracks up with your TOP!info introductions,

    All greatly Appreciated by Many.

    Keep up the Great Work,Cheers!!

  • and yes love feels like fire

  • Very Good, Should've Been Released

  • Omg why wasn't this released it's absolutely amazeing. Awesome post man.

  • Wish I had all my old LP's and 45rpm's. A fav song.

  • Ther song is reminiscent of the sound/rythmn of Major Lance's Monkey Time or Do The Jerk By The Larks.Interesting to hear Lawrence Payton sing lead. Thanks for posting.

  • your right on the money, its like a hdh production with curtis mayfield producing.

  • How does something sound more motown than northern soul - that is such a crazy statement its untrue

  • OMG that is larry singing lead on that one, i thought so when i first heard it, but i wasnt quite sure

  • Yes! I've always thought that "Feels Like Fire" would

have been a hit single. The late great Lawrence Payton

did a good job on the lead vocal. Thanks for the video.

  • cant get hold of turn to stone, this one sounds more northern soul than motown

  • Great ssong that could have been issued by Mr. Gordy & Motown in '65. Have you got the Four Tops' "Still Water" from 1970?

  • What a great song! A true lost gem!!! Take good care of that album :-)

  • I agree. This would have been a great single. Thanks for sharing this video.
