  • very interesting thanks

  • could you imagine if you were out on a boat in the ocean and the tsunami struck 100 feet away from your boat and saw the first tidal wave!!!!! One word traumatic!!!

  • The cameraman is a bit too casual about it.

  • How did u now about incoming tsunami ?

  • @aqu32 When a tsunami comes gravity pulls the water back in the ocean the camera man saw that before the wave hit.

  • hee hee die autos die autos die drijven gewoon weg... O.o

  • @spaakbeen Nou Vinde gei dat nou gek ... Brabander:D

  • Wie is hier nou de snackbar? Gij of ik?

  • and that is why i dont live on the coast

  • thats god saying "stop polluting my oceans! now your gonna pay!"

  • On December 24,2006 at 8 o'clock in the morning, a young 14 year old boy by the name of Scott Jackson was found dead.Doctors couldn't come up with the cause of his death. His mother checked his emails to see if she could figure out what happened.Turns out he was still signed into myspace. She found he had gone to sleep after he read and didn't repost a chain letter.if you don't repost this to 6 videos a girl with no face will kill you tonight. sorry don't wanna die

    TheLowe4

  • @Kamay64 fuck off gimp, thats your fucking chain letter bitch =)

  • Where are the tsunamis?

All I see are giant waves coming on shore.

  • @kristene0enetsirk The giant waves you see is the Tsunami. It claimed 230,000 people in 14 countries and took place in the Indian Ocean on Boxing Day 2004. People on this clip are probably holiday makers and unaware of what's really happening, in fact this or a similar clip was shown on the news at the time of the incident.

  • @TheNeil62 hahaha ohh, i forgot i commented on this!

  • jojojojoj Quee waso

  • this is not cool man not cool

  • The ocean is terrifying.

  • Were is this ?

  • @TheLowe4 i saw this yesterday and i didnt die

  • @nasilemak9999 I know,I just felt like chain linking crap for fun lol.

  • @nasilemak9999 haha...but perhaps the mother of this stupid mofo died!!!

  • just random but if i was there i would want to pee off the side of the building just to see if the tsunami would take it further in to the island

  • Well if there was a tsunami that didn't do any real damage then it would help make the streets clean :P

  • dangg

  • lol they sound like crazy drunk dutch people...

  • @JKDUDE911 I'm Dutch. I think ''German'' fits better in your sentence. Because the Germans are the people that drink alot :D

  • 1:26 those construction guys must be F-ing Pissed....

  • Thats some scary shit. I layed a brick just watching this video, god knows what id do if i was actually there.

  • @liverpoolareshite Well it's not like you'd have anything to fear if you were as high up as the guy behind the camera. Besides, proper tsunamis are far more destructive than what you see in this video.

  • @ryhorn100 nahh, its just that feeling of not having control over whats happening around me and seeing people get washed away and stuff. i think waters well scary

  • umm there was people at the beach in the begining????? like omg i bet they all drown or somthing.... o.o

  • Picture yourselves on the beach at that time. Now would you be able to swim through that? I didn't think so.

  • @pogi1100 ya

  • what i would do is get an inflatable raft and swim out there with all meh buddies :D fun!

  • @legolords123

then your inflatable raft will get capsized by the tsunami and you will fall in the water getting hit by god knows what or drown

R.I.P for all the people in that water

  • Anyone else notice that a lot of these Tsunami videos are taken by Dutch people. They must really have the balls to actually stay and film it.

  • @pillowmunster1 that area is very popular for european tourists

  • @pillowmunster1 and swedish people too!

  • been there done that

  • tsunami is one wave caused by earthquake in the sea ..if you see one you better run becouse its not a normal wave its actually like a tide it rises the water

  • thegoodguy001, easy to say after the fact, if you were there you wouldn't have known what to do either, besides, in many cases there was no indication a wave was coming until it hit. Imagine if this had happened at night though, awful.

  • wau q ola :0

  • That was some high tide, numbnuts

  • yeah... a high tide would be like that...

  • i think tsunamis are the worst thing earth could offer

  • @Used93 lol think a little more

  • i think it's one of the worse things earth could offer. not saying it's lesser or greater than other disasters, but at least now, we have forewarning of them. they're still horrible though....

  • @Used93 actually earthquakes are actually the worst because when an earthquake happens in oceans.. u get tsunamis and after shock sometimes stronger than the original.. an earthquake is hell

  • @Used93 The world is gonna end in 300 years from now because of one!! Scientists even SAID that!!

  • @Used93 no it's flu actually.

  • @Used93 yup, because tsunamis r together with earthquake (earthquake, breaking the lands )

  • @Used93 The worst thing is us,

    your K.O.

  • @Used93 i think that volcanos there is possible to stop that it is just lava hurricane and tsunami we protect our self from our self

  • @Used93 We haven't seen a supervolcano yet. It's much, much worse.

  • @Used93 Sorry mate... but - humans are the worst thing earth could offer...

  • what's so deadly about that O_o

  • @TheHairMetal no one expected it and the wave was 40 feet and it just kept on coming its like a flashflood 15 feethigh

  • he sounds drunk

  • overal waar ik op vakantie ga zijn er ook nederlands, echt ongeloofelijk !!

  • its dutch

  • wow that language is bizarre.

  • lol @jkbnumber1

  • Netherlands, and then a accent from tBrabant or LimburgxD Its funny:D

  • Some of the best tsunami footage I've seen. Pretty terrifying. I shudder to think how many people were out on that beach when it came in and that very few of them probably survived.

Does anyone know what language that guy is speaking, BTW? Just curious.

  • @Bravefalcon75 they speak dutch.

  • few people ? couldnt survive, all em prob died, very sad

  • if they died then howd the vid get posted?

  • i said in the path of the wave

  • divine post via angels dsl

  • zijn daar dan zoveel nederlanders geweest of lijkt dat maarzo?

  • If you guys really want to know what is a real Tsunami, make a search about Lisbon Earthquake that destroyed this city in 1775 (followed by a big one tsunami) .. before the first big wave, the ocean came to back showing many big ships who were sank many years before this happen

  • malditos gringos del coño

  • Oh, and for those of you who say that this wave wasn't that big, you should note that those are coconut palms on the shore, which are on the order of 40 feet tall or better when mature. Compare that to the spray from the wave, which nears the tops of them when that second surge comes in. The vantage point of this video is very high up, like from a condo, and it makes the tsunami appear smaller than it really is.

  • How can you guys say this is not a tsunami? I don't get it. Are you not old enough to remember back 5 years? This is one of the waves from the Indian Ocean tsunami of December 26, 2004. The waves were caused by a 9.0 undesrea earthquake and on the average were 20-40 feet (although Banda Aceh which was very close to the epicenter received waves over 60 feet). And as you can see, even though the wave is not staggeringly high, it just keeps rushing in and destroys virtually anything in its path.

  • :( :(:(

  • acully a tsunami is a speed of 800km houre

  • A real tsunami is not like the ones in hollywood movies a real tsunami is lots of 60Ft ripples in the sea when they hit the water inbetween also moves in with them so you also get a massive flash flood. Tsunami move at around 500mph but are slowed by the shore. The watrer might be only 10 ft tall rushing through the streets but it has the energy to move cars into people and you cant stand up it it or swim.

  • @tinku6565 WTF r u saying people died here!

  • :S wow :S

  • wow some people here are really showing how stupid they are. have a look at the continuos waves coming in they are not high but they are very long and hold a massive volume of water. Its not pipeline hawaii you dicks and its not some exaggerated Hollywood movie. read some books you fools maybe just maybe you will understand what a tsunami is

  • @thegoodguy001 agreed, i guess people underestimate the force of a wave, even a very modest wave can be enough to knock someone clean off their feet backflip

  • its a very large tsunami hollywood had you believing they were 1000ft but a tsanami is another name for tidal wave which means a large fast tide. The waves might not be large but they are that size right were the beach meets the wall and the rest of the sea comes in with it.

  • @NielsShoe tsunami is NOT another name for tidal wave, they are two entirely different occurances. tsunamis have nothing to do with the tide.

  • If this is a tsunami then what are the 10 story building tall waves?

    mega tsunamis? o.o

  • i agree a real tsunami is massive but not ten story

  • its not possible. You would drown. Dont tell me you can swim cause in this you cant.

  • i wouldn't call this a tsunami

  • Horrible just horrible. But on the brighter side, this must be Sylvester Stallone's russian brother from another mother.

  • this is dutch, you moron.

    though with an heavy accent.

  • who cares about the dutch. Do you know what a dutch oven is? lol And it's "with a heavy accent" not "with an heavy accent"

  • biggest wave ever :O

  • is this fak

  • no it's not..it's in patong,thailand i guess

  • phuket i mean..LOL

  • no, it is R-E-A-L

  • @imthebest6684 How can that honestly be fake ....

  • boy that a cool tsumi

  • :121 sounded like he took a swig a sumthin before he made this vid.

  • he talks like one of Scarface's biggest enemies .

  • A Tsunami has nothing to do with waves...it is a wall of energy. This energy is like nothing you would have known. I mean, come on people! The bigger ripples come after the first hit. You can imagine being hit by a train, well, this is worse.

  • It`s more the power rather than the height of the waves. eg.if a 3ft wave hit you it would feel like a car has hit you and your ankle would break.

  • wooow

  • bravo

  • last time i knew tsunami was gonna happen so i started yelling to people run away! i ran so farr from the beach it still got me thats how strong is tsunami

  • lol er waren heeeel veel nederlanders op vakantie toen het gebeurde :p

  • believe me that would have killed a lot of people! I survived a wall of water 12m high! many didn't that was way more than 12m. 18 - 20 at least! waster is powerfull!

  • not that big go to china and u will see a big one :0

  • its tsunami. not waves..... tsunami is nothn like ordenary waves... it has much more power and travel long distance with great speed. NOT like waves

  • thats wot im thinken ,it dont look big enuf to kil people.....

  • oh yeah? try standing down the beach. somehow youll be swooped by the waves and hit your head and your dead

  • The wave was measured at like 18ft. I don't know about you but that's almost 4 times my height. Then the water was going something like 90 miles and hour. You can't fight water moving that fast, or that high. Think of the worst undertow you've been in and then times that by 1000. Not only that but these waves come in pairs of 2 and 3. Many people didn't know that and come down to help after the first wave left. They then got hit with the second, and all the debris it carried, from the first.

  • Its not just the waves that hits land its the whole sea moving with it and behind the waves it starts at 600 mph and slows as it drags on the beach. Over 300,000 people were upable to hold onto trees.

  • How heavy is a bucket of water? Imagine all the sea you can see to the horizon comeing at you 10ft deep moving far faster than you can swim it would push you into a house and pin you to it while more water rushes over your head some people would be washed through a window and pined inside a room while the room fills with water. Some did hang on to trees but this water had the power to move houses and cars all the way through a town.

  • You're looking at the 'nice' side of it.

  • All that water looks like bean soup...

    Parece sopa de feijão :P

  • second wave is a killer...spooky

  • soow heey

  • oh my god

  • all-llahu ekber!

  • Inshalla Ma Yeseer feena Ehna.

  • thats not fake loser!

  • i would hold on to a tree or climb up it or somthing it dosent look that bad...

  • that looks scary,

  • Ik snap z'n opmerking niet "dat zie zonet in bed lag te trillen"...Had hij die aardbeving gevoeld ofzo?

  • y'all seemed pretty calm...

  • that dont kill thousands though not a big one thank gawd

  • o no!!!!!!!!!!

  • o shit, now thats a tsunami!

not as bad as other ones, but still a tsunami, not a fake one like ive been seeing.

    you seemed safe tho

  • OMG!!!
