I so believe you. I have witnessed others lose their homes because of this pattern. I am sorry your family is suffering. I wish that they has some recourse, for the sake of their physical health, and their spirits. This kind of treatment is demeaning and demoralizing.
I have learned that some people will walk on others do help themselves.
I wish we could feel more like fellow countrymen, complete with a country that worked to benefit all, rather than just a few.
Congrats USA! We have just become the last industrialized nation to finally get everyone covered. There is no doubt this country was on a formidable Path.. I will finally get insurance. I will admit, single payer would be much better for our country; I have traveled to 38 countries and most of their citizens were happy about their care and genuinely feel sorry for our citizens. My friends in Sweden are really happy we are starting to build a new system. Now lets do our part and lose some weight!
This isn't building a new system, it's worse than the old one. The corporation has its hooks so far into our Government that real reform would never pass. When that drug bill looked like it was going to pass the other day, the Democrats ran across the isle and voted against it. And the Republicans would never vote for the insurance companies to take any kind of hit to profits. They think it's fine for a CEO to get an 11 million dollar paycheck and 20 million bonus. Any cuts would be on our end.
This is a windfall for the insurance scam. They will force us to buy crappy insurance or face fines or jail time. The insurance conglomerates will still NOT cover anything and get away with it. Your deductible will be $5,000 per person per incident. Trash this bill at all cost!
I mean that they literally forged documents and made false claims in order to deny treatment and they felt justified in doing so. When protests and appeals were filed, the govt literally "investigated itself" and found itself not guilty, too.
The Founding Fathers didn't trust govt and neither do I
I know it! I am sorry to say that we haven't had a true representative government in years. I wish that wasn't the case, but I am not the type to bury his head in the sand.

I have two family members who are forced to use govt health care and it's quite literally killing them.

Do you mean that it does not cover what they need?
