I have a piece going from my nipple, down my ribs to about 4 inches under my pant line, I'd say the worst part was close to the armpit and pectoral muscle, people say right on the hip bone hurts the worst, but I found it quite pleasurable! :D

its fine to take pain killers like Tylenol (Acetaminophen) because they don't reduce inflammation like aspirin/ibuprofen. And since they don't do this they do not thin your blood.

yeah outline is supposed to hurt more. it hurts worse for me. Outline needles are more concentrated together making all the pain centralize in one point on the skin whereas with shading/ coloring, the needles are more spread out allowing more surface area for the pain. some people just think shading hurts more because you going back over all the outlines which is really what the painful part about that is. but by the time they get to that your endorphins should be running

Actually I just got my side tattoo over my ribs, on my body the hip bone hurts WAY more then getting it over the ribs. When your laying sideways and he stretches out your skin and goes over the hip, you will wince in pain no matter how tough you are
