I understand what you mean about feeling it. I can feel it especially when in pain or when someone is in great pain the most. The most wonderful therapy in the world, I get as much out of it as the person I am working on. I have also heated up a room when being treated by 3 therapists at once, so much they had to stop and open a window. I like working on children the best as they are the most trusting.
I have practiced and taught palpation of the cs flow for over 15 years. It is palpable, it is very subtle... and not easy if you do not really relax and let it 'be'... I had much trouble in feeling that rhythm. and even now, sometimes I cannot feel it right away... It takes practice, is a very gentle thing... like feeling 'Chi' (and... I dont think I look freaky...) .. would it have helped if he had a lab coat?
Is it just me---or do all CS therapists have to look "freaky" as a requirement?? I am a licenced PT / manual therapist, and im sorry to report---but CST is crap! Cerebrospinal fluid "flow" CANNOT be palpated! Nor can Sphenoid "rhythm". Quit lying to your patients and QUIT CHARGING them for services that cannot be objectified or proven. HOW IN THE HELL IS THERE CSF RHYTHM AT THE ANKLES????? Retake anatomy, CS "therapists". PLEASE!
@PPTTAAGG 1 - I don't look "freaky". 2 - I'm damned good at CST and the improvement in the lives of my clients. I've also got a great grasp of 3-dimensionaly anatomy.
Perhaps you should refrain from commenting on things that you really know nothing of. The motions are palpable, or do you just enjoy calling everyone who's any good at it liars?

I have been treated by Dr. Edgar over a couple of decades and he always opens the door to balance and alignment - each treatment is unique and leaves me feeling superb and at home in my body. If you absorb the illustration and energy lesson in the beginning of this video, you will have gained a great understanding of how to maintain your comfort and fluidity. I wish all chiropractors were as skillful and dedicated as Dr. Edgar.
looks like reiki to me and yes, retake anatomy
