Although subsidize is not really the right term, it is simply one more way of laundering tax payers money into the pockets of the privately owned MIC. We gave a 7 Billion bail out to Ireland. But we didn't give it to the Irish people to help them, it went straight into the pockets of bankers, an arm of the privately owned MIC.

One large reason they are now near non-existent is due to their not jumping on the techonogical e-reader bandwagon soon enough, making them lose to competitors that invested many years earlier.
