i suppose you could do better. the double stops in this particular piece are extremely difficult by comparison with those in the other pieces in the solo violin works.
Nice, i just started working on this one, once I learn it I'll have the whole partita (although I'm not very good at any of them haha). I think this is the hardest one apart from the prelude.
It seems like they get progressively easier with the giga being the easiest, maybe so that you can still keep playing them as you get more and more worn out haha.
That was very good! There are a few things that need a bit of tweeking though. Your double stops could use a bit of work. Try playing the top notes first, then the bottom ones for better intonation. To make them sound clearer, turn your bow in towards you a little. With double stops, you always want to keep 50% of the bow pressure on each string so you don't wabble. Also move your right arm over to the left a bit to keep your bow straight.
I don't not completely agree with this. I believe that Bach wrote this from the bottom note first. I believe if you practice the double stops with the BOTTOM note first, then the top, you will have more success. I'm not sure, good job xD
this isn't bach here.this is bullshit. keep studying! double notes are scaring me of here
