Well . . . in the case of a laptop video card of similar stats vs a Desktop the Desktop card is better. Now in the case of a 8600 Desktop Card vs a HD3650 . . . I'm not sure . . . you'll have to be the judge. I think it'll mostly be based on the game you play . . . you know if it was optimized for ATI or Nvidia

Hmm, i dunno most of the ppl say the HD3650 is better but i dont believe that cuz i have a HD3650 512MB DDR2 and i think a 8600GT is better but dunno

The HD3650 will run most games on high, the only games you will really have a problem with is GTAIV, Crysis and a few others...
The HD3650 is a Good Card dont get me wrong, but i would recommend getting a NVidia 9800GTX or a HD4870

hd3650 is ok i can play cod5 with the graphic seting on full same with l4d the only problem i have had is with gta4
