@coldsn It's kind of a dumb design, since it's producing a low pressure area below the craft. It's thrust would be much higher if there was a paper vent pulling air in before it goes up to the larger capacitor, and some paper around the outside to better direct the air downward
the thrust is pushing toward the larger electrode, but there's nowhere for the accelerated air to vent upward, so the rim of the top electrode redirects/ducts the flow out and down. That's also why it's so unstable.

I have a suspicion that you are creating an electromagnetic bubble underneath the cupola. If so, this is going to shove the smaller EM molecular bubbles out of it's space. The cupola is preventing upward expansion so the downward only expansion drives the lifter upwards.

This may not be a lifter. A lifter uses ionic wind, basically, an electric blower. I see no real path for air movement to create enough thrust for lift. Even if it is not straight lift, it is powerful considering how it's jumping all around. If this is based on the Biefield-Brown effect, a capacitor charged with high voltage D.C. will move towards the positive plate. Or, the foil on top could be acting like a Faraday cage allowing more air to be ionized at once.

@ahelgechiwiz: It would actually be called a "caterpillar" drive using air as the air is ionized and flows from the points of the frame. A corona drive is another applicable term. It also benefits from a bit of electrostatic repulsion from the surface it is launched from. If you build a high voltage source on a frame that provides no neutralizing path, it stops working. However, a ceterpillar drive provides that in the drive itself. Look up "ion drive" and "caterpillar drive" to see.

I have a suspicion that you are creating an electromagnetic bubble underneath the cupola. If so, this is going to shove the smaller EM molecular bubbles out of it's space. The cupola is preventing upward expansion so the downward only expansion drives the lifter upwards.

This may not be a lifter. A lifter uses ionic wind, basically, an electric blower. I see no real path for air movement to create enough thrust for lift. Even if it is not straight lift, it is powerful considering how it's jumping all around. If this is based on the Biefield-Brown effect, a capacitor charged with high voltage D.C. will move towards the positive plate. Or, the foil on top could be acting like a Faraday cage allowing more air to be ionized at once.

Simple electrostaic repulsion. However, like the Levitron using a simple spinning magnet assembly, it can be stable in the air due to its shape and/or pinned charges (the points on the triangular versions, for instance). The use of a shaped field to provide propulsion is useful. Most of the explanations by the creators of these have not been. The reason they are not experimenting with these in big labs is due mostly to that.

@RyuDarragh I don't have to. You can see proof of concept and tests from the 1950s to today of devices in hard vacuum levitating. Why would they not? the lifting force comes from the foil, or saucer, trying to fall into the anode. In the 1990s I built sheet metal TT Brown saucers, and they flew with a lot of force from a standing start on 100kV to 120kV and if you are getting no results in vacuum, you need to use a solid dielectric, or raise the spark-gap, increase Voltage and lower current.

A typical lifter will send the electricity downward which sends the air down, but your device send the electricity up which pushes the air up into your dome-shaped foil which produces the lift. Does this not confirm as shown by TESSLA that electricity acts as AND IS A RADIO wave, in which a a neon light can be swittced on like the same way we listen to music from a radio. HOW difficult would it be to set up a Tessal tower to operate for average home usage,?

@nbm34 the reason it never happened was due to the effects of the tesla coil on the human body..you might not feel it but it has the same initial effect as radiation. it essentially scrambles the electrons in your body

@nbm34 yea to your comment about the tasers. They dont act the same way as the tesla coil, they are all volts no amprage. you also dont have free voltage just arcing in the air, it actually has to arc from the positive node to the negative node instead of just unloading into the air. And yea i like the concept personally. It takes low amounts of electricity to power a tesla coil and you get amazing results. if they could somehow trap it in a faraday cage and keep everybody around it safe

@nbm34 thanks, its good to have a conversation with somebody that has a good amount of knowledge/understanding about the topic at hand. Hopefully somebody gets this put into effect. Had they put the time and money into perfecting the transmission of the power from grid to grid, i am sure we would not have the issues we are having today with the government trying to cut back power consumption. you are very intelligent as well.

@ahelgechiwiz: It would actually be called a "caterpillar" drive using air as the air is ionized and flows from the points of the frame. A corona drive is another applicable term. It also benefits from a bit of electrostatic repulsion from the surface it is launched from. If you build a high voltage source on a frame that provides no neutralizing path, it stops working. However, a ceterpillar drive provides that in the drive itself. Look up "ion drive" and "caterpillar drive" to see.

I am working on several things at once, a 3-meter IGV for Profesor Searl, for parto of my duties at Swallowcommand, and I am preparing two lectures for 2010. I know, and I have observed the films of Thomas Townsend Brown device better versions of this exact same device, patented by Agnew H. Bahnson in the early 1960s, operating in evacuated belljars, from over 50-years ago, to today. Electrostatic ATTRACTION between the cathode-plate (saucer) and anode (sbquantum kinetics) is what causes the force. Read SUBQUANTUM KINETICS, by Paul A. LaViolette. Google it!
