Yeah that is a different type of unmarked car! Even the new police cars dont have their dash lights that far apart!! And the last time a saw those grill lights was before the brought in the new livery! Great vid!
To look at the ute it looks to be part of the CVIU division of the police. Only it doesnt have the stacked Red/Blues on the Right corner of the windscreen...
@scotsfire No they are actually red and blue from the front, but the lenses on them must act as a prism or something, because they often looked odd colours from an angle, like amber and purple.

@NZpolice107 ABS increase braking distance...threshold braking is the key, not stomping down hoping for ABS to engage and lengthen stopping distance.

I've seen an exact unmarked ute like that in Palmerston North, but it was white, and I've only seen it once so it must not be from around here..
