  • Fasting is cumulative. My first fast was miserable. My second was slightly less miserable, and so on... I'm currently doing on, maybe my 5th or 6th, and I have zero hunger, no cravings, no detox, nothing. I feel great. It's something you really have to practice and learn.

  • If you follow Paavo Airola in his method of juice fasting, you are not allowed a lot of fruit juice. When you do have fruit juice it's diluted 50/50 with water. You also make a vegetable broth and have that a couple times per day. You cannot drink straight fruit juice when you are juice fasting according to Paavo Airola. Thanks for the video, I like it.

  • Good clip but not sure why everyone's Food fasting for 100 days is thi just to lose weight. I am just about to get into a juice diet and I want to just try it to see if I can strip the thicker layer of skin that covers just a small part of my abbs. I have a six pack but the pack in the middle is no as defind as I would like. So I hope this works. I have also heard that 30 days is the magic number?

Great comments you made for fastinggurl. I

  • I'm glad I watched this video. I've just done a 14 day fast & I've been feeling TERRIBLE. Fatigue, aches, vile metallic taste in my mouth, nauseous etc. I understand these are the toxins coming out but it's still worrying.

  • @ yardsnacker: and according to your experience can you imagine a genuily sick person with a chronic debilitating disease doing this kind of "experiences" with food/starvation? the answer is NO. So that's why I think she's not true, and I ignore which interests she has, what's her aim but people should seriously avoid her "advice" in all aspects, specially FM and CFS/ME sufferers cause they really run a big risk, and her "CFS" video is nothing but an insult to all of us CFS/ME sufferers...

  • take that!

  • @MariaGuerra it was in the middle of winter smart guy! lol

  • hey man im glad you are feeling better!!!!!!

this is strange - i have hyperglycemia, and man am i moody and sooooo fatigue and lethargic - " want to get better too!!!"

i am in the transition stage - if there is such a thing!

have phased out dairy, phased out meat - i am trying to get completely raw ....but is so hard to do - you are inspiration . THANK YOU!

  • ohh man, i did not know fasting gurl stopped her 100 day. i am doing a 124 day juice feast and believe me it is hell sometimes, currently i am constipated and really am considering going to the hospital if this continues tomorrow. feasting is not for everyone, but i am taurus and i am stubborn..:) i am sure i came across your name before? i make videos also so maybe you commented on one of mine? i don't now, raw food certainly does nothing for my swiss cheese memory..later

  • love this video..thank u

  • love your comment, thank you!;)

  • I would really like to hear more about that "medicinal mushroom". What is it and how does it work? Thanks!

  • maybe in a future video? There is a whole bunch of info on cordyceps and reishi online too.

  • I think its interesting how many people hit the 2 week/3 week wall. Well we at least gave it a good try! Thanks for your support Alexis, you rule.

  • I haven't juiced since my 14 day juice feast in January of last year. I am still turned off by it. I still want to do another juice feast, but maybe just one day a week, not the 92 day juice feast I originally planned to do. I got some crazy cravings during the juice feast. I also had hypoglycemia before I was raw (or maybe it was just detox symptoms). In any case, I am no longer really drawn to juice feasting, but I might do it if I get sick. Thanks for keeping it real.

  • Always enjoy your videos. About food cravings, my understanding is that when one craves a certain food, it is the body releasing it out of part of the body to be eliminated. By being in the bloodstream to be eliminated, it hits the taste buds or the brain so one feels craving. Just like food we don't metabolize or are allergic to, the cleansing process mimics desire or need for it, so one eats more of the incompatible food? I agree with the emotional cleansing or component, it's very strong!

  • Wow mystykit, thats really interesting. Thank you!

  • Hi! Found you thru fastinggurl. I'm currently doing weightwatcher..150lbs to lose..doing ok...but this raw food thing has me intrigued. How do I get started????? So much info out there...so overwhelming! Thanks for any advice you're willing to give.

  • Great question...to answer, just transition to all organic and when that is done start adding live foods bit by bit and you will find all the information you need online...good luck!

  • Continued ... Anyway, because of the past hypoglycemia I do stay away from juicing since it concentrates the sugar content in food and takes out the fiber. I love smoothies (whole foods in the Vitamix or Blendtec ... we have both machines). We have a green smoothie and a cacao-berry-superfood smoothie every day ... plus regular solid food. I think the superfoods and the green smoothies have been a huge help (in addition to the basic live/raw diet) for our health. We stay pretty low glycemic too.

  • Fantastic post dancesk8r! I am learning more and more about parasites, candida and whatnot...it's amazing to me, it took me a year and a half to cure some other things, but thank GOD for raw because well, I'm better now...I will look into the candida and other things, thanks for those suggestions...

    All my best,

    Sam

  • Good to see you back. I think I went raw around the time you did and I've really enjoyed your videos. I too was hypoglycemic back before raw. With the help of my live blood analyst, we traced the problem to to candida. It's almost compeletely gone now, but I'm anoyed that it took well over a year to get to this point. If you haven't gotten into live blood analysis, you might want to look into that to see if you can figure out the root cause of the hypoglycemia.

  • Hi! I favorited this video!

I love juices too! I had smooth Cantaloupe juice this morning!! Thanks for coming by my channel. The worst one is yet to come!! Come back, cause I know I'll be back to see you!!! Karen

  • Sounds great!

  • I personally didn't do well on fruit juicing, but I do amazing with veggie juices only. I also think that a juice feast is an interesting way to deal with emotional attachments to food. Of course, greens are the core to either juicing or raw.

  • I do best on green smoothies...gotta have my sweet. ;) Great points I2A!

  • I know you haven't been posting much the last few(?) months so it's nice to see you again :) I have been studying raw but no real transitions yet. I just bought a Blendtec though, so I am excited about incorporating some raw even if I don't go all the way right now.

  • You are going to love that Blendtec, I'm a Vitamix guy but I've heard rave reviews! Best to you!~

  • Thank you so much for this video. You know I got 3 yes 3 colds in December. Bad ones too. The juice feast may have been a factor. And yes Raw food is the BEST. I really appreciate your perspective. Sometimes in the raw food movement things can get dogmatic. One raw shoe does not fit everyone! Make sure you post this to my video =)
