@eclipse93gst they said that the 35w and 55w lights are on backorder till the end of the month. they WILL NOT check their emails, and half the time i call no one is there to pick it up. i had to be on hold for like 10 minutes, brought me to a message machine, but it caps out at like 20 seconds and that wasnt enough time to explain my problem. these guys seriously piss me off. im probably going to cancel it and go with something else just becasue of how retarded they are. going with xenons
@LiquidFastProduction AGAIN man this is bullshit im getting a refund and going with sharphid.com they also carry a ddm kits and ive always had great luck with them check it out.
wow i wish i went there! and good luck getting a refund becasue its impossible to get a hold of the! they blocked me on facebook.... the only way i could contact them.
@flintC87 oh man im suprised it looks pretty good even without the projectors i seen some cars with hid's maybe they got cheap brands but some look horrible and some look good
I meant that effd up intersection at mark :38 lol either way screw everyone hating I'm gettin the same 6k 55w ddms tomorrow on my e36 ;) they look ultra sexay
:D prettttyyyy! this is exactly what im going to get around the 1st of october just a couple weeks before my birthday. 6000k Hid With 55w ballast. Going to get high beam/low beam, as well as fog lights :) cant wait
just curious if you have projector housings? or are you running your HID's in your stock light housings. I've looked into projector housings for my ford ranger and i don't want it to look to ricey and it seems thats all they have. I"m also getting 55w DDM 6000k btw.
@bmonee5 The glare isn't too bad, then again I wouldn't know unless I was in another car facing my car. No one has flashed their lights at me yet, even in the rain, so I think it's fine.
Everyone's saying my lights are aimed too low...fact is, I haven't even touched the angle adjustment since I got the car. Maybe they do need a bit of an adjustment, but remember these HIDs are much brighter than standard halogen (obviously), so it can be a little deceiving. If I switched my standard halogen bulbs back in, the angle wouldn't look so low then because they're not as intense.
@flintC87 Haha nice i had 55w 8000k but they attracted too much attention, i live in ft lauderdale the BullShitOfficer's always creepin' so i wanna switch to the 6000ks, keep it low key.
@trilingualkid Never pulled over (it's not illegal in Florida to have them, I don't think), but I was flashed a couple times in the rain. One of the reasons I switched down to 35watt
i have a 2008 e350 mercedes ...was wondering if i needed to get 55 watt for low beams or 35 ...is the 35 plenty ..especially over stock or would you go 35 ...also would you do the highbeams or just the fog lights ...reason for doing fog lights is because when i turn off the car its the courtesy lights which i was going to do a 35 w kit ....for factory xenons for mb what color are they in 35 w and 55 watt ? thanks so much for your help
@usdmsw21 you my friend are wrong...she is just being a nice person not blinding the shit out of people..i have mine aimed that low as well...keep it up girl, my xenons died on me, thats my next set...DDM's in my bmw have been working fine for a good while, nice vid
i was thinking of getting 55w 5000k hi/lo . i had the cheap ebay 6k which was perfect but recently one bulb started to turn purple. so i was thinking of getting either a 35w 6k or 55w 5000k.,.,thanks 4 the input man.,.
@ranacherian not sure what vehicle you are putting these on but 55w kits usually make the light output look a little more white than anything, so if youre looking at the 35w 6k kit you should be looking a little higher up on the kelvin scale if you purchase a 55w, should be 35-5000 and 55-6000, to my eyes those are pretty equal, with 55 being slightly brighter
I recommend you have projector headlights if you want HIDs this bright so they are at least focused/have good cut-off point. Otherwise, the light just kinda spreads out everywhere and blinds other drivers.
@ranacherian he probably doesnt not since they look to be aimed nicely and a little low, thats how I have mine aimed, keeps people from being blinded regardless of their vehicles height, and projectors have a sharp line cutoff, reflector housings arent really aim-able and scatter light everwhere :)
Your video gives good justice to how bright these are. I want mine too look exactly like these so I'm going with 55w not 35w!

i like that YOU show how the light looks on the road, Nice. Thanks! This helped me a lot.

do you have projectors? or just stock light housings?
daveskatesallday 1 year ago
@daveskatesallday Stock non-projector housing. Projectors didn't come stock until the 2009 TCs came out.

@koukicrispS13 Uh, what railroad tracks? haha. I think he was just making a statement about how people weren't flashing me, who knows.

@bmonee5 I have stock housing for the 2007 tc, non-projector. Eventually I do want to get the projectors that come in the new TCs.

@flintC87 ok cool, how are they on glare? I might look into projectors down the road but i don't want to spend the money right now.

aim your headlights up for btter view
twowheelsnobrain 1 year ago
Looks nice man, what color are they crystal white or do they have some blue in them?
biglo30 1 year ago
@biglo30 Yeah they're more like a crystal white with a tint of blue :) I'd say almost similar to the color of the Acura TL projectors.
flintC87 1 year ago
There is a huge difference 55 watt will get you pulled over, also just adjust the angle of your headlights
