  • What is the job of a Governor General's detail ???

  • Combien d'hypocrisie ! Pourquoi vous, les pays les plus impériales fait quelque chose pour distribuer la richesse mondialece tremblement de terre a été causé par une arme climatique des Etats-Unis!

  • Why use the term "negroid"? Does that mean the people in Europe are Caucasoid, and the people in Asia Mongoloid?

I find the terminology quite interesting, if not revealing of your true feelings.

  • @miguelvillafana well, how about the other N word, while we're all revealing our true feelings....

This woman's appointment as GG is just another example of Liberal Party white guilt-inspired PC pandering for minority votes. Harper's going to serve her eviction notice just as soon as her meter runs out.

  • They have skills that can make a country, but these country of color are hemorraging people of talent. to big countries. It's like we build these beautiful cars, but never drive them. I thins this was so tragic that Haiti will rebuild for the better, if only in memory of those who world feld and could have been saved but dies because of lack of infrastructir and an organized nation in a nation of 10.5 million people

  • Coup de tas. and it ;asted for 100years of killing of corruption then laster on after so many dies decmocracies where reborn and stability came into play. Haiti will get better because it's people are good it is a little harder for a younder country to find it's way,

  • A country can be fixed overtime, but it is a minds set of off a people. Those people have to have faith that they themselves can change their nation. They have to work as one and think of the betterment of the nation not themselves. Haiti wasn't always this bad. It had problems like all countries, but it is only 40, 50 years ago we had a working infrastucture. In Wurope had it's dark ages.

  • @filou420x

I have some sobbering news for you. When Somalia was going threw it's famine and we saw on our televison states that people were dying and suffering, we sent food, meidince, money, and troops, etc and the Somalis then shown us their appreciation by murdering 18 American Soldiers and drove their bodies thew a street and mutilated them, when the Western troops left and all the news people let too, guese what happend Somalia was largely forgootten and Haiti in a few months will be too,

  • Some Fasts on Haiti

Fact 1: In 1775 the French Colony of Saint Domingue (Haiti and Domincan Republic) made more revenue then the enitre British 13 Colonies combined.

Fact 2) in the 1780's and 1790's The French Colony of Saint Domingue (Haiti and Dominican Republic) produced 60% of the Coffee and 40% of the Sugar sold in Europe and the United States.

Fact 3: The French Colony of Saint Domingue (Haiti and Domincan Republic) wa so rich it was known as the "Pearl of the Antilles"

  • People!

Whether you like it or not, Haiti is a Lost Cause. No matter how much money we give Haiti, No matter how much Debt we Cancel for Haiti, No matter how much food and medicine we send to Haiti, the fact is that Haiti will always be a Poor, Sad, Corrupt, Crime Ridden, Voodoo, etc and this is the truth.

    "Haitians are destined to suffer"

    Francois Duvalaier (Papa Doc).

The Haitian people have ruined the Wealthiest Colony in our Hemisphere and changed it into it's Poorest Country.

  • how do u know??? DEVIL BLOOD

  • @unitedempireloyalist...... this is an Earthquake.. Canada can hit by Earthquake too!!!! Shut ur ass up

  • Haiti has got that oil so drill baby drill.

  • She could be telling you something the public does not know.

  • Canadians have always been able to oveloook formality in order to see the true message that is being presented - what is wrong with people?!?!?!

  • Its heartbreaking. I dont care what the seperatists or the federalists say on this board - this event is sooooo far beyond anything to do with bipartisanship. Shame, SHAME on those who try to present this message as something to do with Canadian unity or even the british monarchy - it only shows how decidant our lives are, here in Canada, to even consider questions of federal unity or british monarchy when 200,000 people have potentially died in Haiti. This is not America -

  • @ryanwhibbs

You know why our lives are so decadent in Canada, Canada was had the blessing's to be created and found by the British who also founded and created the United States, Australia and New Zealand. These countries are amoungst the wealthiest countries in the world and it's because of the British. Canada by being a MONARCHY is the only country in the Western Hemisphere that did not have a Civil War, Revolution, Military Coup, etc all the others that did were REPUBLICS.

  • @worldlythinker What the HELL is wrong about being a Conservative. This is the problem with Canada and countries like the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand we are full of Bleeding Heart Liberals who are destroying their countries with Political Correctness and Multi-Culturalism, Uncontrolled Immigration. I hope that Stephen Harper would slap Michelle Jean in the face and force her to bow to Queen Elizabeth II whom she disrespected by saying that "She is Head of State of Canada".

  • Michelle Jean = smoke & mirrors folks. Unfortuantly most see a different picture portrayed in the media.

  • Mother Nature is being cranky again! My thoughts and prayers go to those affected.

  • @tintintabulations Michelle Jean should NOT be the Governor General of the Dominion of Canada. Like a person who want's to be President of the United States has to be born in the United States then so should the Governor General of the Dominion of Canada be born in the Dominion of Canada. Michelle Jean has been very disrespectfull towards the British Monarchy and Queen Elizabeth II and does have no respect for the Britishness of Canada. She should be deportated back to Haiti where she belongs.

  • I agree with you 100% other than the deported comment..

I think there have been better GG's in Canada. She publically shows much more emotion towards her homeland of Haiti, and there's nothing wrong with that, however It's probably not the best thing that someone in the position of a GG should be doing. This is Canada the GG should not use the position to promote their individual causes.

Also, well known media celebrities shouldn't be picked as GG's.

  • @Robis2349 In the United States their is a law that states that the President of the United States must be born in the United States. Their should be a law that the Governor General of the Dominion of Canada should either be born in the Dominion of Canada or even the United Kingdom of Great Britian and Northern ireland (Our Mother Country). Michelle Jean has shown the Monarchy and Queen Elizabeth II with so little respect. She hates the British Connection and the Monarchy of Canada should leave.

  • sydneycbr, the only thing that you are clearly basing your comments on is the colour of her skin.

  • Wait. What?

My family has been on this continent for more than 300 years but if something like this happened in Ireland I would get choked up, too.

It seems to me that you miss the point of being Canadian. Being Canadian doesn't mean, as it does in so many other places, that you must be Canadian to the exclusion of all other things.

I think that our strength lies in the fact that we bring with us connections to all the other nations of the world. Each of us is connected to somewhere else.

  • here, here! Excellent comment.

  • I have lived in this country for 20 years and hold two nationalities. Being a Canadian does not erase my past nor does it diminish the loyalty/patriotism I hold for Canada. It's like having two kids do you like your first one more than the second or third one or do you embrace them all? I am proud to be the citizen of a country who values all its citizens equally, new immigrant or third generation alike!

  • You make some good points.

There's an old saying: No one slave can have two masters.

Anyone who has immigrated to Canada from whatever country will always hold one in higher regard, it's never equal.. Believe me, we've seen this time & time again here. eg: Tamils blocking trafffic in Toronto. Is that the Canadian way? Think they care more about their fellow "Canadian" citizens than they do about Tamils back home? Not a chance in hell.. Indeed a sad reality about the failure of multiculturism.

  • @UnitedEmpireLoyalist You do know that, now you're sounding border line racist... Canada was founded and created FOR British-French people?

Are you implying that people from other culture and origin should just leave? By the way, I don't really get what's the connection between having a white Canadian PRESIDENT in Haiti and having a black haitian GOV-GENERAL.

And as for Canada, they would also never elect a black Prime-Minister. And for her husband, he was not elected, she was.

  • @UnitedEmpireLoyalist

where do you come from are you as i am a native from iroqouis tribe i dare it ??

  • @sygma000 I would not even trust Michelle Jean even if she was born in Canada. Michelle Jean states she is "Head of State of Canada" when she is not but a Representive of the Head of State of Canada which is Queen Elizabeth II. Michelle Jean is more loyal to the French Quebecois Seperatists then she is towards the Dominion of Canada. Michelle Jean has contempt for the Britishness of Canada and it's historical, policial, cultural, links with Great Britian and she wants Quebec Indepenence.

  • Obviously it is you who make people sick.

  • She moved to Quebec at 11 years old... Come on! And, she was a well known figure before becoming Governor-General. Being a 5th generation Canadian has noting to do with what you can do for your country.

  • @sygma000 The President of the United States has to be born in the United States. The Governor General of the Dominion of Canada should be BORN in the Dominion of Canada. Michelle Jean is the most disrespectfull Governor General towards the Britishness of Canada when she called herself "Head of State" which she is only the Representive of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II who is Canada's Head of State. Besides why do we have a Black Governor General anyway we in Canada had NO Black Slaves at all.

  • @sydneycbr We shoudl return the Dominion of Canada to being a homeland for the descendents of British American Loyalists and Loyal New Frenchmen. The Governor General of Canada should be born in Canada just like how the President of the United States should be born in the United States. Michelle Jean hates the British Component of Canada and disrespects our Queen Elizabeth II. She is a Haitian who helps the Quebecois Seperatists. It's time to deport her and her Seperatist friends out of Canada.
