@dreel I totally agree with what you're saying, but if artists like Eminem (whether you like him or not) had given into what record companies wanted them to do and most probably keep their image and lyrics squeaky clean and confined, they wouldn't have had the impact on music they do today... I'm sure these guys had a great initial idea 'lets fuse dubstep with rnb'...but once you let record companies influence your music it just sounds generic.
