Spitting in our faces, GM announced plans to buy Americredit Corp (ACF) immediately after Obama signed the bill. ACF has steadily declining sales revenues and is losing money, so why should the highest and only bidder be GM with taxpayer money? Reforming what industry and protecting who?

The majority Republicans attempted reform, but were blocked in committee by Barney Frank and the Democrats, who turned it into a racial issue. The majority of the mortgages were being targeted to low-income minority buyers.

As late as July 2008, Frank was still saying the GSEs were sound. He should be in jail

First he helps bankrupt the country by refusing to let anyone touch the parasitic monstrosity that was Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, then he starts yelling at protesters at his own town hall when they express outrage that he would have the gall to demand we trust him to "fix" the healthcare industry the way he "fixed" the housing industry. Frank was reprimanded by the House but won re-election in 1990 by 66% of the vote. He is re-elected every two years by his liberal voters.
Why are politicians allowed to get away with this behavior? Is some kind of pedophile lobby advocating behind the scenes?
